Just made my reservations the other day. It took ages to find a vacancy. DC is booked solid.

I thought that the big march on DC was on Tuesday the 15th?

My husband
and I will be there. We're actually going up early on Monday and taking in some sights, as I have never been there. We are traveling from the Tidewater area so hopefully only a couple of hours for us.
On a side note, we are also going to the Monticello over the weekend. I recommend it to everyone. This time of the year the wisteria is in bloom and you can smell the sweet aroma from almost anywhere on the grounds. It's amazing!! You can't help but be swept back a couple of centuries, wishing you were part of it all.

I am involved in the announcement. It has been taking a lot of planning. That is how I know :) And it is going to be truly AWESOME.

Boy suttle you are not...lol... don't you dare leak the plans.. everyone will hear about it at the rally...and don't dare tell them that this is going to be the event of the year, well maybe not year but years, well maybe not years but decade? Whooooooo I can't wait to hear you yell out the plan, I know it is killing you to keep this a secret... I just wonder how long it will be before you or Kathy will bust wide open holding it all in....lol...

But what happened at the Rally in Austin yesterday, April 5? Dr. Paul was speaking I think. It was to protest the Texas Trilateral Corridor and of course, no news on it at all.
I am not going to the rally of which you are speaking. I wish.
It was great!
My first anti-TTC protest in Austin (there have been several others in years past) was tons of fun. There were fewer people than I expected; but the upshot was that there were Ron Paul signs/t-shirts EVERYWHERE.
No, RP was not there....I expect that the crowd would have been 3x or 4x larger if he had been scheduled to be there. According to his "people" he was campaigning in another state and was already committed elsewhere.
There was a documentary film crew there along with a few media people (a couple of Houston stations carried it, and 2 people from BigD called to say they had seen it on the news there). I have no idea who's doing the documentary, but will be happy to post add'l info as it comes available.
