My guess is that Ventura really meant "Ron Paul won't be the nominee"...
Jesse is still in Mexico! As I understand it, he is coming back to the States next month. I agree--he should not parrot what he's "heard", but we shouldn't be surprised that he's heard Ron Paul is out. I think Jesse's a good guy--somehow he needs to be re-informed about the fact that Dr. Paul is still very much in this race. If there's a way to do that, then we should get that info to Jesse ourselves. You can bet the MSM won't do it!
.. isn't known for his eloquence of speech or precision in word selection. He's a "loud beer-drinker" type guy. When trying to understand where he's coming from you can't treat his words like a precise legal document.
Maybe some pragmatism is in order when trying to judge his motives from his off-the-cuff statements...
In traditional Mancow fashion, he didn't say it while he was on with Jesse. He waited until Jesse was gone and said. Jessie is just a big dumb wrestler (or something like that) and if he thinks Ron Paul is out of the race he better tell Ron Paul that.
I just emailed him...told him to please make the correction....told him that it's bad enough we have to deal with a corporate media blackout but I always thought he was above that kind of mainstream mentality.

.. that Ventura SPECIFICALLY said/meant "Ron Paul is no longer running"? You sure they didn't say/mean "Ron Paul has no chance for the nomination but hasn't officially dropped out yet"? Big difference.
Also, it doesn't make any sense for Ventura to say he wouldn't run because Ron Paul had dropped out because he would be speaking of 3rd party and Ron Paul certainly hasn't dropped out a 3rd party run because he never started. ;)
Too many times on Daily Paul and other forums you read "he/she said such and such" and they didn't really say exactly what the forum poster makes it appear they said...
King asked if Jessie would run 3rd party for President...Jessie said no its too late for him to try and get on ballot...the Larry asked if he would consider running RP/Ventura ticket... Jessies said no but he would consider Ventura/ RP.

Remember.... Ron Paul says don't build the fence for border control.. simply take away the incentive to come here which is free health care, free education and food stamps! if those are taken away you do not need to spend 11 billion dollars on a fence....
My local radio station drops mancow at 9:00 for another talkshow so I don't know if he is done with Jessie or not. Mancow format is very scattered, he jumps all over the place.

no, I am still on hold....a lady came on a few minutes ago and told me to just be patient but then the line went blank again and now I am wondering if they disconnected me or what. The line goes totally silent and she said that is "normal" but this is the second time. I hope others are calling too just in case I Did get disconnected cuz at this point, I have no way of knowing.....update: still connected and on hold...they just came on the line again and thanked me for my patience......
Ok this really stinks! I have been on hold for 36 minutes now. They just asked for callers to name the #1 guitar rip and brought me on the line. I told them I didn't know the name of the song -- I had called in to correct the misinformation about Ron Paul's candidacy and they immediately cut me off! I have no idea how much of what I said, if anything, got on the air. I have not been able to get thru when attempting to call back...it's ringing fast busy.
I just got thru again....they said my message was broadcast loud and clear on the air....did anyone hear it? I of course had the stream sound turned off....
