Sometimes I listen to Christian radio because they seem to be rather uncontrolled but I heard a commercial the other day that
blew my mind. I believe in God, probably not as much as I should but I was listening to a Christian radio station the other day to try and get some uplifting, and they went to commercial. I don't remember the commercial in it's entirety but it went a little something like this-You lied to your mother, you went out drinking last night, you didn't sign up for selective service, YOU DIDN"T SIGN UP FOR SELECTIVE SERVICE, YOU DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR SELECTIVE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The guys voice got real loud like that was the worst thing you could do against God. I was in complete shock. They made it seem like if you did not sign up that you were going against God. That is a lot like Hitler did back in his day, he aligned himself with God and basically said follow him to follow God. Pastor Chuck Baldwin said something about this and how our government was doing the same type of thing. I was just blown away. Keep up the great work everyone.

Chuck is on the money with that, and.....
Remember this: The Bible teaches to resist ALL forms of a One World Government that does NOT have The Lord Jesus Christ at the helm. Again, that's not ANY christ, that's The Lord Jesus Christ....

Forget the Old Testament.
Christ was against bankers.
He believed in all people.
He never said to kill anyone.
He never asked for a revolution against the government.
He loved children.
He hugged sinners.
He said his Father would welcome those that followed Christ in his way of love.
I asked my Pastor who Christ would recommend bombing next.
He never answered!
I don't need a Pastor to understand Christ.
His words are enough.
Maybe I must be aware of false prophets, and those that use his name in vain.
There are plenty who make money that way!

What?!?!
Jesus himself said "I did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets but to fulfill them." I don't think Jesus would have a problem the Older Testament, after all, He quoted it quite often. The two Great Commandments are from the OT-- "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart ,soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself,( Deut.6:4 and Lev. 19:18 respectively) on these two laws stand all the Law and The Prophets." There are issues that cannot be fully discussed on this forum, but the Holy BIble is all God's word, both OT and NT.

The Jewish religious leaders were trying hard to get rid of Christ as he was not one of them. He taught freedom.
He showed that he was not to be feared by these word you quote.
He was appealing to devoted Jewish people to see him as not a threat but as a new way to the same God.
Please understand his message.
Whereas sinners were stoned to death, he said "Who is without sin".
He hated the money lenders and overturned their tables. They lent money for those who would sacrifice for a boon from God. The temple priest was more than happy to pray when paid. Christ said you don't need these people, God hears you!
I fear that if Christ came back we would find him in a mental institution if he was manifest in a human form. In other words we would, again, condemn him.

Why "Forget the Old Testament"??? and....
I don't recall these words..."He said his Father would welcome those that followed Christ in his way of love."...but I do these...:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." John 3:16-18

You said it.
but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
