Tell Absolut Vodka to go back to Mexico

Absolut Vodka put out an ad with a map showing Mexico as it was before the Mexican-American War. That means that Mexico, according to them, is about half of the United States. If you drink this stuff, switch brands!

My client works for Absolute as a VP
and said that they have appologized for it and it was stupid. Not meant to make us mad or freak us out. Actually we did take that land from Mexico. Relax. Please no emails or phone calls to these guys. Just don't buy the vodka. I guess they have just been sold to giant of a company (not sure the name, but it's huge) and I would rather not support them anyway. The liquer business is all about marketing anyway. It's mostly the same stuff so move on to the next label.
Your post is not accurate.
These territories were once part of Spanish Colonies. They were sparsely populated to the point that the Spanish government encouraged people from the United States, largely Louisiana and Tennessee to settle these lands.
The people know claiming ownership have no historical rights or claims to these lands. Stop spreading you ignorance.
I do not drink much but I will NEVER order Absolute Vodka. And YES we should let these pro-globalist, anti - US companies know how we feel.

I don't care about vodka, but i always find these historical claims to lands based on ancestors silly and collectivist. They are kind of like the arguments for slavery reparations. None of us were alive back then. We didn't steal mexico's land, all the people who fought over that land are long dead.
I hate the NAU, because it would create a centralized north american government, not because I have anything against Mexcians. If mexico, in some form, wanted to merge with the US under the US constitution, I would be fine with it.
Just my personal thoughts.

Yes, Mr Polk's war was a great and successful land grab. Itr worked out well for Arizona and Nueva Mexico. They're much better off now than if they'd stayed in confederation with Jalisco and Coahuilo.
