The new Republicans or neoconservatives have been steered in a Neo liberal/conservative direction so long that they actually think they are Republicans and call us Libertarians? It is true that some ideals Dr. Paul shares lean towards the libertarian side, but pre-emptive war, growth of monsterous government, depletion of individual rights that they all seem to support in Bush/McCain are not by any stretch Republican ideals.
The Neoconservatives did as we are doing now in the past, they slowly took over the Republican party and do not like the fact that we are here now ready to take it back. I think they should take a step back and see how their methods have brought us to a breaking point, where those that speak of change are providing lip service to the public school indoctrinated masses. Call me Republican call me Libertarian, before long it wont matter, as all will call us right.
This story did give me an idea for future meetings:
Delegates, bring food.
You'll have a choice of feeding only RP supporters and hoping that the higher energy levels mean they hang in longer than the opposition, or sharing the food with everyone and winning some support or at least increasing the patience-level and perhaps fairness of the process.
