Sorry, I have to ask
I've got to ask..... Rev (?) Hagee was on CNN. He was saying the Jews are the apple of Gods eye. This is in no way a shot a the Jewish community (please stand down). I know a defense mech kicks in and I certainly understand, OK we're back,
My question isn't Israel God's chosen people ??? Aren't all Jews Israelites but not all Israelites are Jews ?
Aren't there the lost tribes of Israel all over the globe waiting to remember their identity ?
"And I heard but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way , Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end...and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise will understand."
Dan.12:8-10

U.S.A. is not
a lost tribe of Israel. Don't listen to Hagee to much, he may get a few things right but mostley he is off the mark. Besides, physical Israel has no special place any more. And the idea that if we always support physical Israel we will somehow find favor in Gods eyes is another teaching of mainstream christianity. Spiritual Israel are the chosen ones. "In the messiah there is neither Jew nor Gentile, free nor slave, rich nor poor, male nor female".
Doesn't belong at Daily Paul
.
Why the heck are you posting that stuff here? I bet there are many other sites where you would fine a more suitable audience.
No offense, but does this
No offense, but does this post really belong on the Daily Paul? Aren't such religious questions better dealt with in another forum?
Just a note
I think this could be real relevant. I guess my point was feeling around to see if people are aware that the United States is one of the lost tribes of Israel. If we dont know our history I don't think we can know our future.
I'm not aware of being a
I'm not aware of being a lost tribe of anything. I think that is a religious belief that would be better addressed elsewhere, not here where it can and will alienate others.
Chosen
Thank you for your response . By "chosen" I mean actual "covenants" iron-clad agreements that could not be broken.
It depends.
I am not an expert in my own religion by any means, but it depends on how you interpret the word "chosen". My Rabbi believes that we were chosen to live a certain way and be an example for God's way for the rest of the world. He does not believe that "chosen" represents being better or on a higher plane than anyone else. Therefore we are all equal. I agree with his opinion.
In terms of the tribes, there were several tribes that have been spread all over the world. But I have never heard anything about "waiting to remember their identity". So I don't know what that means.
The Ten lost Tribes
Do you know who they are ? Do they ?? Do we??
