If an island like Puerto Rico or Lanai (or the entire state of Hawaii, for that matter) were to vote for independence from US rule, how would you react as "President Paul"?

I was just wondering if Ron Paul's passport was also scrutinized when it was revealed that McCain, Obama & Clinton's passports had been rifled through by the State Department. Gravel, Keyes were also not mentioned.

Was Ron Paul a "victim" of the State Department also? What is Ron Paul's take on this particular breach of security?

I understand why you want to legalize drugs, but I wonder why you don't advocate legalizing speeding. If you say a person speeding is a potential threat to others, why wouldn't you also say a person on drugs is also a potential threat to others, and thus it is society's concern to outlaw both or permit both if the notion of "potential threat" is merely a way to take our freedoms. Do we have a natural right to drive 100 mph?

Dr. Paul, once agin thanks for all that have done and are still doing. I am delegate from the State of Washington headed to the State convention. out of the 12 delegates from my county we are sending 5 Ron Paul Delegates with the next three alternate delegates also being Ron Paul supporters.

My question is this: Do you feel it is getting to that time frame where maybe you and the campaign needs to get a little more agressive and start demanding a debate with McCain? There are alot of popular people in the media, that get noticed, speaking your message. Have you approached any of them for endorsements and shout out's for a debate? The majority of the public is unaware that McCain still has a challanger. We can blog on the internet until our fingers fall off but the majority of the public won't get wind of it and the MSM surely won't do it unless there is pressure coming from the public and those that stand out and get heard. (Jesse Ventura, Rosie Odonel, Willie Nelson, etc.)

What can we do to stop the aerosol spraying at 30,000 feet? I see these non contrails everywhere and more frequently than ever before, like the operation has been ramped up. Bee's and Bats are dying at an alarming rate and nobody seems to be talking about this spraying of our environment. Dennis Kucinich mentions it in HB 2977 2001 and never again. This issue in my opinion trumps all others, if someone can get away with this then there is no hope we are doomed.

You advocate a return to the gold standard to stop the Federal Reserve from printing money out of thin air. Obviously something needs to be done. But according to the documentary film The Money Masters, Reagan's gold commission reported that the U.S. Treasury didn't own any gold at all, it all belonged to the Federal Reserve. Also it's been suggested that since gold is such a limited commondity, the rich & powerful would simply buy up most of the gold, thus giving them most of the power anyway. Further it's been said that a gold standard would limit the potential growth of a thriving economy. Could you please address these points & reinforce what actions could immediately be taken to reduce the control of the central banking system? Thank you very much.

How can we influence/coerce/entice the media to give a candidate such as yourself, fair/equitable/equal media coverage?

It seemed to many of your supporters that other candidates - like Chris Dodd, Giuliani, Bill Richardson, et al. - received MORE media coverage than you but LESS votes than you received. That seemed outrageous to many of ur supporters, myself included.

I would ask how are you able to keep your professional, courteous demeanor in public, as in the debates, when you are surrounded by cretins. A more public question would be concerning the recent revelations concerning our corporation versus an actual government status, so now that we know what has taken place, how do we go about eradicating the situation?

Citizens like Bev Harris from Seattle, who started www.blackboxvoting.org, have been, more or less, left with the role of being the elections tampering watchdogs throughout the last two presidential races. Many people are not even voting because of these feelings of disenfranchisement. People are aware of these abuses and criminal activity that companies like the Diebold Corp., VoteHere Inc., ES&S and Ciber have committed in the past. My question for Ron Paul is what kind of action will be taken to assure a fair and honest election process this year.

Doctor Paul, I wish that you would have asked General Patraeus basically the same question that you did regarding consent to bomb Iran during the recent hearings on the hill but added a come back to his saying that he could not answer that particular question because it wasn't in his area of responsibility, to point out that he, like all of the other members of the American Arms Forces took an oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution not the Commander and Chief. And, that since this lawfull provision is plainly stated within the Constitution would he not therefore, refuse an order if it were in conflict with this Constitutional provision?? If he didn't refuse a direct order from the Commander and Chief to attack another country without proper consent as stated in the Constitution would that basically be the same criminal defense that German Officers aruged and lost with during the Nuremberg trails?
And finally, knowing that the President of the United States swore an oath on a Bible to also Protect and Defend the Constitution in front of the World and you knew that his order to bomb Iran was therefore unconstitutional, would you disobey that order?

How come there is very little questioning and opposition when it comes to the voting system? Do we trust in computers that much, or bush for that matter? Its very easy to rig these elections and computers when your in power. What do you think we could do to ensure and prevent rigging or a 'Florida Recount' from happen again in the benefit of private interests or other candidates?

Many of us Ron Paul supporters want you to win and run as a Libertarian candidate, since it appears that you are unfortunately not going to get the Republican nomination. However, you have repeatedly said you do not plan to run third party because of the lack of media attention. If you do not run third party and do not get the nomination, who do you plan on endorsing for president? You have said you cannot support Clinton, Obama, or McCain because of the difference in their policies and yours. Who do you plan on endorsing for president if this happens?

this correspondent needs to understand we are SUPPORTERS of Dr. Paul not "followers". That is an important distinction. Rev. Jim Jones and the like had or have "followers". Ron Paul Supporters are rational, informed people that SUPPORT the BEST candidate for rational reasons. Using terms such as "follower" is a not very subtle attempt to create an impression that supporters of RP are irrational cultists.

How do you, Dr Paul, view the world we live in? Is this the kind of world we want to raise our children in if we're continually worrying whether we are genuinly free?
Personally I find it a permanently depressing thought, spending half of my working hours sponsoring a system I don't agree with and which has taken away too many liberties.

But why did you keep the same incompetent staff when the RP revolution was at full steam,and no results were being produced?
Why did you become content with just having your Congressional job as opposed to realizing that you could have been a contender with the right PR people and staff that could have kept you in the news and the debate?

If USA had "Made in America " solar, wind, hydro, hydrogen, bio-diesel, ethanol/methanol, deep ground source heat pumps, pyrolysis of garbage, landfill methane, algae to synfuel, water hyacynth to biomass, and Industrail Hemp and Switchgrass replacing weeds on 6 million of the 36 million CRP acres, we wouldn't need imported foreign oil, or costly oil wars, or unbalanced foreign payments, or debt.

We'd have American technology creating American jobs producing American energy. The troops could return from Iraq and Afghanistan ( and from 130 other nations ) and we could support them as they patrol and secure our own borders and sovereignty.

Could not the president tell DEA to back off from Industrial Hemp growers using an "Executive Order"? Tell DEA, " Your job now is to test Industrial Hemp acreage; lower than .2 THC and you certify it as Industrial; higher than .23 then you rip it up and fine the grower." DEA could identify hemp fields from satellites!

Just growing Industrial Hemp alone could change this nation. It can produce up to 45 tons per acre, or 3 times corn silage by weight. It makes possible over 200 different products, from bio-diesel to body oils and perfumes, from ethanol/methanol to livestock feed, from blue jeans denim to paper pulp. Yet the DEA blocks growing Hemp, even in States where it's been permitted by law.

Can you get the federal government to do just ONE right thing for "We The People ---", instead of government agents pandering to trans-national corporations all the time?
