They published it so it would
scare the hell out of people and we all run for the hills while the bastards walk in declare marshal law and start pilling up bodies. The whole propaganda thing is there we can get ready but like they say "you can run but you can't hide". Ron Paul the final revolution for the Constitution.
Martial Law in a country of
Martial Law in a country of 80,000,000 armed people in the populace would be a complete and utter nightmare. There is no way they will declare martial law. Hell, they can't even keep one city in iraq under total control, much less something as big as the US.
I agree. All hell would
I agree. All hell would break loose in the US if our own government began fighting against us. I really don't see it happening, at least not in ways where people are expecting the government to wage some sort of war against the American people.
The only way they could
The only way they could plausibly do it is in the major cities. Block all of the exits etc with jackbooted thugs. It will probably be mercenaries or a foreign army that will do the dirty work.
i'm concerned about this
i haven't heard it from the source myself... this is VERY second-hand (however a REALLY reliable source)... but if shtf a lock down of cities is a planned-for scenario already.
if it isn't a long article can someone that
already has an account post it ?
Thanks !
Good article
Interesting that it's in the "Fashion & Style" section.
Wait til gas ...

You're right, Lisa...
i have a top oil exec that comes into my store...despite his position, he really is earthy and casual..
"Hey, Harold..How high do you think gas is going to go?"
Harold shakes his head and closes his eyes...
"Five dollars?...
He nods and looks depressed..
"Higher..Maybe?" I ask.
Harold looks like he's getting upset. He takes a deep breath and pats my hand.
"Do you know what they're paying in Europe,Kat?" he asks me.
"Eight dollars, I heard."
Harold looks at me with a kind of helpless sympathy.
"Then it'll be that here. " He looks disgusted and depressed before he leaves.
Europe
Let me tell you something. I'm from Czech Republik which is country in the middle of the Europe. An average salary is about 33000$ (1USD = 16 CZK, used to be 24 2 years ago and I remember times it was worth 40). Anyway, the point is that we pay 2$ per LITRE of gas. 1 galon = 4,546. This means that everything, all goods is more expensive than in USA. Add enormous taxes (we have a socialism here, including mandatory health and social insurance - trust me, you have no idea how real socialism looks like ;) ) and you'll get how 'good' people are living there comparing to you. How can people survive there? They don't think that less than 3 litre car is for gays, for example :).
I'm living in Ireland now and it is worht it to take plane, fly to NY for shopping and go back.
Neither Czech Rep. nor Ireland are poor countries. I'm just trying to make a picture for you how the rest of the world lives. You are heading back to reality where the rest of the world is and some of you are prepearing for apocalypse. I really hope that they are wrong because you would take down the whole world.
We do understand "real socialism"
and we don't want any part of it, which it what those in power would like to implement here. There are many, many things converging here all at once. I don't think we think it will be an apocalypse, but if something isn't turned around real soon, it could be an economic quake, and yes, the rest of the world would experience the waves sent that way. We are just being practical in planning for whatever may come our way. When speaking about high gas prices, remember most other countries have wonderful public transportation systems. We do not, and in some cases people that travel far to their jobs will not make enough to pay for the gas. You fly over here to shop, so what is that telling you about the value of the dollar here. Thanks for your post, we are all in this together, whether you think so or not.
I agree with you
double post
It is not me who is flying
It is not me who is flying to shop to US :). But you are right with the public transport.
When I discovered Ron Paul on Internet I was totaly amazed. IMHO he is the last hope not only for you but for us as well, as Europe (mostly) does what US says. You have one big advantage - tradition of freedom and small goverment. Our current goverment plans to reform our tax system. One of the features is paying 50% income tax (all-in-one with insurances) - they call themselves conservatives and people believe them and vote for them!!! Now you can see how far left we are from you. I realized it here, on this forum. I can say that I'm a different man after 4 months of reading dailypaul - the message got really far.
There is another reason why I support Ron - his foreign politics. Your goverment plans to build a big radar station in our country and a rocket station in Poland. Nobody wants it here, only our goverment. I'm planning an article about this, but you know... ;)
I love hearing from other countries
and appreciate the other viewpoints. Our country used to be a souce of inspiration for others, and it has been hijacked, that is why we are so fervant about our Revolution. We don't want to go the way of the rest of the world, and live with the conditions you speak of. It is so fantastic that there are Ron Paul supporters outside of our country, and that alone says so much about what this grassroots movement is about. I really could not see myself getting involved with someone running for office in another country. Getting back to the public transportation, I have been on many bullet trains in Europe, they are wonderful, clean and efficient systems. You should see how long our trains take to get from point to point and how limiting they are as to locations. Good to hear from you.
50% income taxes as part of
50% income taxes as part of a reform? WTF!!! That's crazy!
It's pretty amazing to have Ron Paul saying there should be zero income tax while other governments around the world are willing to tax their population into oblivion.
Your Taxes
If your taxes are so high, why don't the people rise up and say no, we aren't paying it any more. Why not have your own tea party?
The problem is that people
The problem is that people are used to and they like their 'sureness' that government 'provides'. No matter that it almost collapsed twice in last 70 years and that states are collapsing all around the world almost on daily basis. People swear all the day but I think that deep inside they like the illusion that somebody will take care if anything happen. It is not 100% wrong - people who are in need really get some help and our health care isn't bad even if it's not commercial.
The other thing is that people don't know about other possibilities. First they are not looking, second there is a language barrier and third MSM is not interested in education. It took me years to find out that there are better ways and how many rights we've lost. As I said before you have strong tradition and good constitution so you can say: "OK, lets go back to our roots because we KNOW it worked." All I can say is: "Hey people, lets try something completely new we have never experienced but it worked somewhere 100 years ago."
Thomaas
It is exactly the same attitude over here that we are up against trying to wake people up to Ron Pauls message. For the most part, as long as people have the basics in life, and feel "secure" it is easy to become apathetic, and not put any effort in to change conditions for the better. It is always a false sense of security that allows the taking away of peoples rights, little by little. Also, many want to be taken care of and do not like a sense of self relience, and responsibility for themselves. To add to all of this, is when you are told endlessly the same thing in your media, and kept distracted with endless forms of entertainment, it becomes easy to become programmed that this is all you should expect. Over here, with usually both parents working to maintain their lifestyle, sometimes it is just a matter of being too exhausted to pursue much of anything. There are parallals of what is happening all of the world, and you should be proud you are the minority that cares enough to go for something new.
it already is... here

RON PAUL 2008 / RE-ELECT 2012
I heard on the radio news
that a recent Gallup poll indicates a majority of Americans now believe a serious depression is likely. Haven't sought a link yet.
A majority?
Must need a flat panel tv in the bunker! The majority of americans support Clinton , Obama, McCain. So their solution to their belief of a depression is universal healthcare and more war?
Either option, universal
Either option, universal healthcare or war, will only help to bankrupt the US much faster. Let's not forget about Obama's way to help bankrupt us - he wants to take nearly 1 trillion dollars out of our economy and give it to other people around the world...
Thanks for
the article! loved it!
Your welcome!
