Goldthorpe up to $550 - Thanks to those who gave at www.FightingFor.Us

Please continue to give at www.FightingFor.Us - as she is doing just that for us here in Michigan's First Congressional District!

A quick update on our efforts to send Goldthorpe to Congress...

1. Since March 29th - 11 days ago, we've raised $550, or roughly $50 a day. Thank you for those of you who've pitched in for this raise.

2. We have a had a MAJOR overhaul done on the website that will be implemented, most likely, by midnight tonight. This will include many advanced features to allow us to manage supporter and volunteer info, as well as many other features (blog, forum, supporter central, etc). We're working on getting access to the RNC voter vault, at which time we'll kick into high gear with our campaign to gain supporters, raise money, and engage the voters.

3. We're working on putting together a truly 'Fair & Balanced' First GOP Debate Series that will hopefully involve all three GOP candidates in four debates over the next four months. We're still pursuing the details - one of our opponents has committed to participate - so as soon as we're able to propose the idea to the other candidate, we'll announce the details. It will be very cool, including live web-casting of all the debates for the First GOP too watch!

4. We have competitive intelligence going on daily. One of our campaign consultants is featured regularly on www.NewsWithViews.com and is a huge wealth of information on Bart Stupak, his voting record, and his weaknesses.

5. We have a major announcement on April 21st. that has the capacity to thrust Linda into the national limelight - more on that then.

And finally, I know you all have given Dr. Paul lots of money and things are tight. But can we count on enough to put us above our main competitor in this district? He's got $1620 donations from 39 people. We have $550 from 19 people. $10 from everyone online right now will put us ahead of him - and he's got the backing of Saul Anuzis on down here in Michigan.
