McCain Can easily stumble over the next four months and we must be ready and willing to step into the vacuum that is created.
We are four months away from a Convention, far too much can happen in that period of time. We are living in interesting times. Changes are occurring faster than you can say "Bear-Stearns".
Let's count just a few of the possible ways that Insane could stumble between now and September:
1. His health could easily worsen
2. The Iraqi war could easily turn into a major civil war, with our troops trapped in between & our troop supplies would be stolen
3. They could make the mistake of invading Iran
4. Stock Market could collaspe
5. The dollar could collaspe
6. Price of oil could go to $200 per barrel
7. We could witness a major run on our banks
8. Riots could break out in most all large cities
9. Unemployment could sky rocket
10. Information linking Insane and his former Father-in-law to the Mafia could come out. As well as, their no bid contract to supply all of the beer served at the University of Phoenix Stadium until 2018.
11. Information linking him to the large number of sexual affairs that he had could come out in the DC Madam trial.
12. Vietnam Vet's against Insane could publicly release their additional solid information about Insane supporting the NVA during the war. Even releasing recordings of some of his support speeches
13. The court very well might find that McInsane is not a natural born citizen.
14. Or, my personal favorite, that many of the delegates change their position and join with RP delegates to stop Insane on the first ballot and open the convention up.
15. This country could witness a major natural disaster, far worse than New Orleans that would require the immediate assistance of the Nation Guard, which is stationed in Iraq. Such a disaster would put the economy and our dollar futher into the toilet, and Insane and the other War Hawk Neocons would be exposed for their International adventures rather than taking care of the people in this country first. Not many National Guard left here.
16. Other "lack of good judgement" issues.

18. His Son James could come out against his Dad, who he doesn't like

These are but a few of the possibilities that could change things at the GOP Convention.
Within the past 24 hours, as of noon today, the following headlines were seen on the Drudge Report, Worldnet Daily and American Free Press, we can only immagine what the next six months hold for this country:

What I am posting is my distrust and dislike for the Republican Party, which some people evidently are not bright enough to understand. He should run Third Party, because the lying scumbags in the GOP will not permit our delegates to take over their party and turn it upside down.

Paul should run third party. Quite frankly, I don't see why we are so excited about Ron Paul speaking and the convention. What needs to happen is that we start grooming Ron Paul Republicans for 2010 and 2012 Congress. A bonus would be a Paul third-party candidacy in 08.

The elites are scared to death of Paul making a Third Party into his own. If we stick with the strategy of "taking back the GOP" (an erroneous idea, since people like us have never controlled it), they can marginalize us much more easily. They'll have an open playing field for playing games.
By contrast all they can threaten us with if we take over the Constitution or Libertarian Party is exclusion from MSM news reports and debates. Big deal. Without Youtube and the Internet, we wouldn't even have a movement.
We don't need the mainstream Press or the GOP.

Even if something happened to McCain, what makes you think the GOP convention delegates would select RP over Romney, Huckabee or even Giuliani or Gingrich?

No question--they'd pick Romney. Unless the RP delegates have some sort of mind control plan to go with all their procedural excellence.
We need to wake up and realize there is not going to be a Republican President Ron Paul. The current run to educate is great, but we don't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting him the GOP nomination. I have yet to hear a single "delegate strategy" person explain to me exactly how it can be done. The reason for that is because there isn't a plan that will work.
If you want him to be President, get behind a Third Party effort, even if that means putting his seat at risk. There's still time.
Otherwise, be content with Republican Congressman Ron Paul and a liberal president. Those are the cards we're dealt.

Huckabee and Giuliani aren't eligible any more. Romney - that does worry me a little, but Dr Paul has a LOT of support going to the convention and Romney's people have largely given up or have looked into RP enough now that they realise he's actually a much better option than Mitt. As for Gingrich, I suppose that's a possibility if the GOP super-delegates have the same power as the Dem ones, but I don't think they do.

Doctor Paul knows the game plan I'm sure. If he fails (and I don't believe he has ever lost an election to date right?), then your idea to go 3rd party has merit. I'm sure if a lot of Doctor Paul's followers at the highest political level started it, he would join.

I was there that night and witnessed the the peaceful, creative, loud and totally non-violent demonstration. We we're 1500 strong, converged on the four corners intersection on Elm st. in Manchester NH for over 6 hours. All the major media had there bases there near the main hotel. The mostly Ron Paul supporters obeyed all laws, no arrests were made by the MPD who were there in good numbers and "let us do our thing". The much deserved snow-ball bean to Hannity's "empty but hard head" that night, was a very mild form of Heads Up Man. Glad I was there. aloha

Watching Hannity reach the hotel door first and not opening it as any gentleman would for his female working assistance but instead quickly rushing inside and then turning around to watch her through the heavy glass windows fend off what he must had thought were peasants holding pitch forks who had just breached the walls of the castle was priceless. I too, I'm against any killing of any kind but I think that I might have selected an iceball or two instead of a snowball to throw at Hannity. These establishment types are never confronted American citizens for the harm that they have done to this country. They only think of themselves. This too, may soon change. One way to really get back at them is to do what they do to the rest of the people in this country, invade their privacy. Publish their home address and telephone numbers. Publish their family photo's and listen to their cell phone calls.

Greg, you are correct. It could be one of many that really want McStumble-Bum in office. Each of these groups has a "signature" way of eliminating these types of problems. The Israeli signature is the "Car Bomb", which they have always claimed to have invented, the KGB's signature is poison, the Mafia's signature is a clean looking suicide or a vanishing and the CIA's is for the victum to shoot themselves in their own back five times with a single shot, bolt action long rifle.

most likely his political career, force the nomination of Ron Paul at the Republican convention, seriously tarnish the reputations of a major media icon (Keith Olbermann) and those of two television news organs (NBC News and MSNBC), not to mention force a criminal investigation by the DOJ and a civil one by the FCC?
I've produced a PowerPoint presentation, "Who Owns Keith Olbermann?" which will do all this. However, I need help with the narration. I lack diction, comic timing and sophisticated sound recording media. I need an effective, witty speaker with these things, plus at least some version of PowerPoint. I'd prefer someone who sounds like Olbermann or Rachel Maddow ("Air America Radio"), but that's far less important than the other requirements, including earnestness and enthusiasm.
Please be aware, the presentation is biting and bawdy; so, if you are easily offended, please disregard. Further, if you are recognized, you could be running afoul of some very dangerous people with mob connections. I don't care. Patriotism is worth the risks, and I've lived long enough to know life without at least the semblance of freedom is not worth living.
