MT GOP Invites Congressman Ron Paul to be Key Note Speaker at State Convention
and he accepted! We are so excited!! Our GOP probably realized why they have so many new members and Precinct People; after all McCain came in fourth. They are desperate to keep all the new people and must have finally realized CHANGE is coming and no matter how hard they try it is UNSTOPPABLE. RP is also speaking at UM in Missoula on April 21st with a possible book signing. Everyone is welcome to come to see and hear RP. In home housing is being arrange for both events by some of our meet up groups.
God Bless the Paul's and the USA, only God, RP and a few of us know how desperately prayers are needed.
Keep up the great job of educating everyone you can.

Ron Paul FTW!
Yes!! I am soooooo excited!! I never dreamed I'd actually ever get to see Dr Paul in person. I am hoping he stops in at our tailgate party too. I went out canvassing/campaigning, etc today and told everybody I saw....I hope our turnout is HUGE! Our meetup is one of the ones offering "lodging" and I am looking forward to meeting our fellow RP supporters as well. There is a Ron Paul supporter running in our district as well as in a neighboring district, a Secretary of State candidate is a strong RP supporter...our list is long and it makes me feel so full of hope. Just knowing the message has had such a strong impact here makes me feel like in many ways we've already won! Of course that won't stop me from working on spreading the message everyday ...much work remains to be done. Today tho, I don't think I've ever been more proud to be a Montanan. I know this is a somewhat meaningless post info-wise...I just felt compelled to express some of the joy I am feeling.... :)

I wonder if Montana might be a better place for it than Vermont.

? about date
Just checked on ronpaul2008.com page and they have him scheduled for the 20th of June to speak at the Montana state convention. Is his appearance at the UM campus on the 21st the 21st of April or the 21st of June? I live only a couple of hours away from there and will attend. Just need clarification on the true date. They don't show him in Montana before the June date.
April 21 UM @ 7:30 PM
University Ball Room, cook out preceding. Perhaps you could check out the Missoula or Kalispell meetup postings.
MT GOP...
...just sent an e to the montana gop...thanking them for inviting the doc as their speaker.
also, thanking the governor for his stance on the national id.
Awesome
Wonder if we can get him to come to Delaware, only an hour away from DC! We were able to get a Ron Paul delegate from DE to the National Convention. That's big news - we only take 18!
Awesome!

You folks give me...
HOPE! Thank you.
Do the state conventions allow
visitors to hear the speakers? I am planning on going to the Nevada one.
At our Alaska Convention
Guests could participate in any and everything, but they could not vote or debate, of course. And closed sessions (state central committee, and nominations committee) were closed to guests (and all the other delegates, too). So basically, guests could do and listen to anything they wanted. Our Keynote Speaker spoke during a dinner event, which was open to delegates or anyone else who wanted to pay for the banquet ($75 for just the banquet; included in the delegate fees for delegates, though).
I Might Be Moving To Montana Soon
Montana is one of several states that have balked at a federal law requiring states to issue tamper-proof identification cards to residents. Gov. Brian Schweitzer discusses his state's opposition.

good news
we need to pray unceasingly. the fervant prayers and actions of good patriots availeth much.
:-) I agree but careful, prayer police lurk here sometimes....

yeah...oh oh
i was a little hesitant, but for some actions might speak louder than "prayers". remember fellow patriots and "police" in our prayers. i am respectful of a person right to believe in what they want. however, for those of us who believe in the power of prayer let us combine our actions with prayer, faith and hope for a good outcome in this election process.
I agree
And forget the prayer police. OUR FOUNDING FATHERS- prayed, fasted, and sacrifaced everything to overcome long odds. Maybe ALL of US should do the same!
i heard
that alot has been gained by prayer and fasting. often i have left fasting out of the equation.
NICE!

Nevada, too
Dr. Paul is also scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the Nevada State Convention on April 26th. Go Montana, go Nevada!
IT'S DOABLE
Nevada was one argument used
by our RP state coordinator when he contacted the GOP. GO NEVADA
Way to go, Montana!
My son and family live there, also Paul supporters, and he keeps trying to get us to move there! sigh....
So what is your problem? =(

Ahhhh
Such great news!
THANK YOU MONTANA!!!!!
Montana ROCKS!
Big sky, lots of stars at night. Did my geology field camp there. God's country.
I remember a bar (in Missoula?) that sold liquor in the front part of the bar, but had gambling in the back part. They sold T-shirts with a steer at the bar with a mug, and the slogan was "???'s Saloon. Liquor in the front, Poker in the rear".
I loved that bar just for the clever t-shirt.

This Is Wonderful News
Glad to see at least one state is supporting the message of freedom. Can't wait to see what transpires between now and the convention.
Yay Montana!!
That is terrific! It's nice to see SOME people get it :-)
Forgot to mention
I also have a Pauler running for house in my precinct. HOORAY! We are gaining ground for Freedom and Liberty one inch at a time.
