Troll accusations
Congratulations, troll patrol You wore me out. I have people just like you in my meetup, and they are so busy painting and waving signs that they just do not want to listen to the hag who wants them to go canvass or make phone calls. One explains "If you put the message in front of people, you don't HAVE to convince them." Silly me, why do I want to make things so complicated.
There is no "virtual freedom" at the end of a "digital revolution," at some point you have to step away from your keyboard and talk to actual humans, like your neighbors. I will be preparing for myself and my family. Even the "supporters" just don't get it. And I get called a troll!

canvassing is the only way
canvassing is the only way to go to get delegates!
as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD
Going door-to-door...
.. for delegates?
EVERBODY...
.. except for me is a demonic freedom-hating infiltrating quitter non-delegate non-meetup-member secret McCain supporting shill who is mean to kittens and puppies.
>;)
Haha.. j/k
Thank you!!!
That is the best laugh I have had in hours. I will grant, ala Shakepeare: Thee and me. You seem like maybe you are OK... MAYBE - don't get too close now... LOL
Hehe...
=)
As a fellow "Troll" and "Infiltrator" I commend
your common sense and desire to continue the campaign to win the hearts and minds of the American people in the only way that has or ever will work; one voter at a time.
Maybe all it took for us was to see a sign with the right words on it. We were ripe for the message. But the cherry-picking phase of this revolution is over. Now comes the hard work in the trenches, and most people don't want to face up to it.
Oh yeah, and it is true that the "troll patrol" is really ruining this site. Sometimes it is hard to tell an infiltrator from a muttonhead, but the end result is the same; fractionalizing and degrading the movement.
Its amusing how similar these people are to the communist party members who would continually monitor their friends and neighbor's conversations for "ideological purity".
But I think I'll stick around just to give the occasional honest patriot or newbie a sympathetic ear after the attack dogs have had their way with them.
Canvassing is better than sign waving.
Sign waving is seen to be more fun (Americans like fun).
I found canvassing fun and much more rewarding.

Especially at this point in the game
Standing on a corner waving a sign for a candidate that people believe has dropped out adds to the "crazy" stereotype. You have to be face to face to explain, "No, he did not drop out."
And truly, which issue can you REALLY explain on a sign? Is it the heart, or the mind, that can be turned if you wave that sign frantically enough? ;)
Great minds.
We need to begin new strategies. With all the great minds at work in our revolution, I know we will succeed.....

"Each of us should be asking : What daily can we do in furtherance of deliberate projects to advance attention to, and understanding of , the cause ? What can YOU do to portray the Message as interesting, real and relevant? How can you personify this emerging rEVOLution to show what it’s about. I’m not talking only about those Sleeple who have yet to awaken. I’m talking also about those who have begun to awaken, as well. They need to find direction and support real soon. Help them. [See Kahn’s fun personal siege tactics http://www.dailypaul.com/... ]
I assume things have stalled waiting for marching orders. That isn’t too critical if these misguided activists were only planning to promote conventional campaign activities. It is certainly not too late to begin to coax and help shape the efforts of those in this Movement to take individual responsibility as we each SPREAD THE MESSAGE. Ron Paul’s renewed Freedom Tour and the debut of The Revolution: A Manifesto are propitiously timed. Let’s step up the pace now as well."
Freedom is here
That is why when people are suspect; they have the freedom to challenge people on this site. We have seen trolls and have weeded them out. I myself was accused as such, but I was able to argue the point that I wasn't through various other avenues. You could still do the same thing and I have even called you out on a couple of posts. At the end of the day it is your choice to quit the board and that is fine. Just remember that others cannot control your actions and only you can, so the blame for frustration can only be placed on you. You have to sometimes fight off accusations as well all do. But don't let it get in the way of your freedom.
If you really wanted to get rid of trolls
You should IGNORE THEM.
(What trolls are actually out for is attention.)
This also has the added bonus of not offending and driving off people who are sincerely mistaken but whose heart is in the right place.
Oh, and another reason not to drive all of the "trolls" off the website is ... and I know this would never occur to some of the people on this website but....
the "TROLL" might be RIGHT and YOU just might possibly occasionally (gasp) be WRONG.
I did not EVER suggest support of anyone else
I get irritated at the calls for 3rd party, actually. And, I did not say I was quitting the board. I was expressing my exasperation that my efforts have been cut off at the knees by people who are so busy trying to ascertain my motive that they will not get up and do what needs done. We have become such a suspicious lot that "because it is what the campaign needs" is simply not accepted at face value.
I am rarely at the board because I am busy getting my state ready. Fortunately, a lovely lady from Texas gave me the templates you urged everyone not to, thus saving me days of wasted time. I understand, even recommend caution. But when "caution" stops you from trusting people with an obviously true message ("We need to make phone calls and go canvass" is my theme) - well, is STOPPING the cause trolling? Cuz that is what happens. Effective people stopped because the keyboard gang does not want to follow ANYONE'S advice.
Again - I asked for resolution templates, and you never did explain how a McCain supporter would benefit from that. If a McCain supporter wants to present my resolutions, FABULOUS! I recommend the one expressing "no confidence in McCain."
The Keyboard Gang...
I like that :-P
It's the Dr. Steve Parent troll patrol fan club!
Yes, folks. They have taken over the DP, and there shall be no dissent against the 'good doctor'. Not Dr. Paul, of course, but Dr. Parent, 'the delegate guy' who wants us to lie and cheat our way to the GOP national convention. Dr. Paul would be ashamed.
Ron Paul 2008!
witheyeswideopen
THANK YOU. God forbid anybody ask a question anymore.
They've...
.. calmed down recently.
=)
Food for thought....

what some consider troll posting
would be:
1) constant negative disinformation like "Ron Paul has lost and/or has no chance. We don't need him any more anyway" or "Ron Paul stole our donation money," etc.;
2) the championing of Obama ("he would be my 2nd choice") or any other candidate that Ron Paul has not officially endorsed, including suspect ones like Bob Barr, Ralph Nader, etc.
and oh, yeah -- ADDED:
3) "Ron Paul should run third party" endless futile whining
