So this Kentucky warrior is leaving out for the Rally in a few hours. Hey I know, leaving for the rally four days early is a bit over zealous but I want a good seat LOL. All jokes aside I’ll be in an orange Land Rover –covered and I mean COVERED in RON PAUL signs. Please feel free to flag me down if you see me in the area. I’d loved to have lunch with fellow supports. Now to the point, I know this thread is not containing the useful information that most do, but I feel compelled to write this comment prior to setting off.
Throughout this Ron Paul awaking, I have rollercoaster emotionally, swinging from a patriotic passion, to depression to anger then homicidal tendencies, but today I am hopeful. I without a doubt know the friendship that waits in DC. It is been my experience that once two parties acknowledge the common Ron Paul factor an instance camaraderie occurs. There are no more democrats, there are no more republicans, we are not black, white or Hispanic our labels get blurred, libertarians, constitutionalist, gay, straight, Christian, atheist, 911 truthers, pro-gun, north, south, conservative it goes on and on to one common tread. Each of us knows deep down that there is something terribly wrong with the world, with our government and because of that we are no longer factions, we are brothers and sisters with unbelievable strength. I leave Sunday, tried leaving Saturday but my "meeups" are not ready for me to head out early. Dang It ;) I tried.
I can't wait, as we get closer to the date we hear more and more about the bus loads coming!
We'll be in that big RV with Ron Paul signs... nope not the Granny's they are coming from the south, we are coming from the Dakota's but our RV is almost as cool ;)

There are no more republicans. I am a republican. But I'm not really. I've been a republican all my life but I can't consider myself this new kind of republican because I never have been and never will be THAT kind of republican.
My wife, my mother, and myself are all running unopposed in our precincts for PCPs as republicans. In our county out of 934 possible positions, 117 spots were filed for, and according to the elections office, most of those happened in the few days prior to the deadline. So we are looking very good in our county. The only thing that's going to save the gop is for republicans who are not republicans to take a stand.

I am deeply saddened that I cannot make the journey (living paycheck to paycheck, can't even afford train tickets) but your letter cheered me up a lot. the Iowa district GOP convention is Friday and Saturday. Thanks for posting this. It's good.
I hope someone is making a complete video of it. I think it will be needed down the road when history is being written about.
