This is such a terrible thing.....
Whether you think this picture is staged or not....we all KNOW that innocents are dying in Iraq....just the same as innocents died on Sept. 11th. Does it make it right? Did we even the score yet?
Will it be finished after it is my Son that gets murdered? Or how about when my Son kills his first "insurgent"?
WHEN does it end?
We ALL know that we went into this war based on lies, that we will head into Iran based on more lies....

I get so disgusted when people make comments such as the above. No Iraqi came over here & did ANYTHING to take away or abridge my freedoms. Even if this photo was staged, we do know this is going on daily. Population of Iraq the day we invaded was estimated to be 59% aged 12 and under. It gets worse tho. We are using depleted uranium bombs. We are poisoning the air, land, and water as well as our own troops with them. No one knows for how long but at least for 150 years.

I have to agree with you airborne... its not the military.. it may be some way high ups in the military, just like our government... put blame on the policy and those who make policy in washington DC (district of corruption)... not the soldier in the field!

I know this is going to piss some people off, but it's true.
Who dropped the ordinance, a politician, or a soldier?
That said...I understand the quandry a soldier can find themselves in when presented with an order that may result in what the picture shows. We don't know the circumstances preceeding the event...the target of the ordinance, or for that matter, even the source. All we have is a picture and a few words.
But, and you must admit this is true, our military has killed innocent men, women, and children in Iraq. If an image is what needs to be seen by the public to 'make it real' to them and to get them motivated to use their influence to get our military out of a situation that they shouldn't have even been in in the first place then so be it!
And for the record, I've served, my father served, and grandfather served. I have friends and family in every branch, and one of my closest friends sons who I love like my own just enlisted. So yeah, I'm extremely grateful to the good work our military does.
So...you're partly right, but you're partly wrong too. Our corrupt government couldn't and doesn't execute it's plans for the world alone. An order which is even just the slightest bit wrong ought not be followed. Place the blame where it belongs...on both those giving the orders as well as those who carry them out.

I would like to know more about this.
It has me twisted in several directions.
(1) It is very encouraging to see good deeds of humanity being done, American or not. These children are our future, they are the ones who will grow up and say that the American citizen or soldier is not evil, it is their government who is evil.
(2) Where the f*^k are the supplies from our government? I swear our government is a disgrace to the world. What happen to the days of overturning a goverment and hanging its corrupt leaders.
My wife has a 5th grade student, a 10yr old girl who was adopted from China that has 3rd degree burns on 70% of her body. She spends alot of time with us playing with are little ones. Kids her age just wont associate with her. Pisses my wife to know end. So to see these kids at the burn clinic brings tears to my eyes knowing that they will hopefully have a chance at life.
