This article in not so much about
Global Warming, as it is about energy independence and letting the free market run with it.
I don't know anything about Robert Kennedy, Jr.. I was actually surprised by his article. I figured it would be more of the Gore "the world is ending" stuff to push more taxes on us for the U.N.'s own revenue building agenda. On this topic, the way he presented it, he sounds in line with Ron Paul's views.

Stand outside of Mexico City or Delhi or even Shiprock, NM and tell me all of that garbage doesn't affect our planet. The Lord gave us common sense, don't let politics interfere with that. We were given stewardship of the good Earth and are treating it as our personal waste basket. If you think that's a left-wing hoax you need to get out more. I'm sure the Founders would be happy to see dead rivers, poisonous air and spoiled, unhealthy citizens. I also believe that there may be weather cycles at play here, and I don't like the Left's proposed "solutions" ( works in China! ), but our instant gratification lifestyle is going to destroy us.

Garbage does affect the planet, global warming is a lie, it is a globalist tool. Over 21,000 scientist have signed a petition disputing Al Gore's globalist claims....remember, these scientists are going against the accepted but untestable beliefs and against the flow of money and fame. If you look at both sides you will see that CO2 has nearly no effect on the temperature of the planet, the sun is the single most important factor, water vapor would be the second but far behind. Many scientist believe that CO2 is actually beneficial to all plants and is the reason why talking to your plants makes them grow (your breath). What is much more scary is that we may actually be entering a cooling phase (sun) and while they show you areas of melting, there are also many areas that are cooling.
The lying will eventually be exposed and cause blowback making cleaning up harder. It seems we need to start looking at all things and say what are the consequences of coming to a quick conclusion on something. This is just another knee jerk reaction instead of presenting the truth. Similar to the war on terror. It seems to be the formula these days, make some wild seemingly obvious claim similar to "the earth is flat don't sail there or you will fall off". I happen to think honesty is better than lying.
i think
that climate change is cyclical. regardless of what we do, history repeats itself and the earth is protecting herself! i.e flooding/ earthquakes/etc. does it matter whos fault it is? the facts are that she(the earth) will continue to cleanse herself however she wants whether we do something now or not, the damage is done.
i put my energy into living free-TRULY FREE- for the time my family has left so we may appreciate the beauty that is here right now.

and that it doesn't help elect RON PAUL(which is where I usually reserve my energies) , yet I though that it does support our cause, for When Dr. Paul swears that oath of office, this is one of the problems he will be confronted with...,, oh BTW I know we as a nation can become energy independent...(there are so many ways actually),......it s just not the time or place I think to go into it....

I recall back when the global warming
issue first surfaced, FOX MSNBC etc frequently took the position that it was BUNK presenting scientists who attacked the notion that man has caused the "warming" but nowdays, it would seem the MSM is on board with it.
I haven't figured it out either!
I Have My Doubts about Global Warming,
if for no other reason than the fact that Global Warming is discussed so frequently by the MSM. This makes me think that the chances of a cyclical weather pattern being used to accomplish an underlying goal is in the works. This is a crude standard of measurement I'm employing to measure the value of the information, but I'm discovering that it works a vast majority of the time. If it gets regular coverage on the news, then my first reaction is to ask why. They attack us because we are rich and free ='s human race's carbonic life style is causing climate change. Are their latent motives here or what? Just my two cents.
It appears that a large part of the world population is
on board for the Global Warming issue but I can't really take it seriously. Sure, I know we have extremes in weather patterns right across the world, colder winters for some, wetter wet seasons in other regions in the world, devastating earth quakes, tsunamis, heat waves.. and the list goes on.
I also can see that the way the people the world over have been using resources as if there is no tomorrow and for that reason alone, I am grateful that people have been made aware we have to step back. Become aware of what we use, how we use it. We can't live on the notion: I want... and want it now.
But to believe that it is global warming due to high emissions and that it is people who are to blame for the increased carbon output=global warming? How about the theories that an ice age might be arriving soon and the indicator for that is the increased rain fall world wide.?
I am too suspicious for something that is being pushed so hard and fast... one reason I can see for pushing the issue is the introduction of the first worldwide tax... the carbon tax or emission tax.
The other reason is to prepare people worldwide that energy needs to be controlled and only one government can control this.. the one world government...
I am sure others can come up with more reasons even far more logical to push the Global Warming.
Just wondering if Al Gore would return his Nobel prize if we have colder than cold weather in 5 or 10 years for extended period of time??

GLOBAL warming. Anything GLOBAL is "in." They probably told Al Gore to take on this issue instead of the presidency and they would make him rich and famous and the darling of the world. It would be a legacy he could be proud to attach to his name. Otherwise-Al Gore and global warming-who would have guessed?
