I believe this artical sums it all up. If US and its allies goes up against Iran they will loose. Unless they nuke them which I believe they will but that will start a turmoil than can even disrupt the neocons grab for power in Europe.
I am an european citizen and as we are speaking the EU power elites are going behind our back (exactly how Bush has done with the NAU) and are disbanding the EU as they are forming a new one that gives the commision (not elected by the people) and the EU president dictatorial power not to mention a NEW anti terror law that is based on the Patriot Act!
Oh and incase I forgot all of the EU countries own constitution will be obsolete when this "Treaty" is put into power. Which is Before November 2009 (right before the next election for the EU parlament who at the moment has the power, but will loose 100% of it with this new treaty that is to be ratified by all countries) and is the only chance people would have had to elect people to put an end to this madness. But they conviniently put it just right before to save themselves the hassle of getting relected, since then they have dictatorial powers...
North American Union coming into power with the Amero by 2010 according to CNN Lou Dobbs (I think it was him that reported on it) and the "New and Improved" EU by 2009 November. Most likely we will see a second terror attack in Europe which will cause shock and allow them to proceed with their plans without protests from the sheeple.
I find it very terrifying how the timing of these to major events which are BOTH blacked out by media (people in europe have NO idea that this is happening right now as we speek). Not ONE single news report about this new EU coming into place and nothing about North American Union.
The Neocons are pushing for the last stage of their masterplan. Who will standup to save us?
Luckily we have a British version of Ron Paul here in europe in the parlament fighting the neocons (Nigel Farage). I hope he and his allies can stop this madness. I am going to run for office next elections back home and inform and alert my people of the treason going on!

Becareful: I had thought about posting this earily this morning but then realized that much of it is probably disinformation. I happen to know that NewsMax is controlled by the establishment Neo-Cons. These people always try and control both sides so that they can be sure of a particular outcome.

Major depression? I know we should be concerned about the people first of course- It's all Stupid of course...but I just can't imagine what this will do economically for everyone involved in the long run!

Iraq was supposed to be free as oil was to have paid the cost. We will be told this won't cost much either.

A war with Iran would actually help the dollar, which is why Bush is stressing so much to try starting war with them. The ONLY reason the dollar has as much value as it does is because countries still need it to buy oil. If the U.S. controlled all oil in the world then we would not be in the Middle East at all. However, since they have the oil we must control the oil by force and underhanded deals. Iran decided not to play by our rules just like Saddam Hussein, so they are on the hit list. Unfortunately, the consequences of attacking Iran are very different than Iraq. It could bring Russia into the fight and end up starting an entire world war.

And probably some of China's buddies. The question is: before Lil Bush gets out of the white house, or after?

About 2 days ago I saw a picture with a caption that It was Iranian police dealing with the aftermath of a bomb explosion in a mosque outside of the capital. I've been searching news sites for the last couple of days, but I have found no story to back up the photo. The photo was listed in the AZ Central Photos of the Day online website. Does anyone else have possible info regarding this?

TEHRAN-A bomb explosion in a mosque packed with hundreds of worshippers in southern Iran killed at least nine people and injured more than 100 Saturday, local media reported. The semi-official Fars news agency said the explosion in the city of Shiraz went off as a cleric was delivering his weekly speech against extremist Wahabi beliefs and the outlawed Bahai faith. The report said nine people were killed and 105 injured, some of them critically. The explosion shook houses more than a mile away, and ambulances and fire fighters were rushing to the mosque, it said. Officials urged the public to donate blood and called all nurses in the city in on duty. A police official said a homemade bomb caused the explosion, Fars reported.

I was going to post that on Sunday when I read it, but then I looked on the web for more information and didn't see any, so I figured it wasn't true seeing how Fars is considered "semi-official".
But I remember telling my husband, Well there is the beginning of WWIII.

Do you really need to phrase it as a question? Doesn't the War Party and all of its apologists in the government and quote-mainstream media give every indication that Iran is next on the imperial list of brown people to be attacked?
The answer is yes. And until the criminals who continue to jeopardize the solvency and permanence of our Constitutional Republic entrenched in the very echelons of government are extricated and brought to justice, I find it difficult to believe that freedom, peace and prosperity can again become a reality for the good people of America.
Of course, electing the Honorable Dr. Ron Paul as President would be a good start and a bit of unheralded poetic justice.

Also, what is with Bush saying he will protect America and our Iraqi partners. OH! So the people of Iraq see us as their partners!!! I didn't know that, now the war makes total sense to me.

Yes, our troops are spread too thin. That's why we pay the expensive cost of private military (Blackwater) troops. As for why Iran doesn't bend over backwards to us, who knows what goes through these leader's/dictators heads. Why didn't Saddam Hussein welcome weapons inspectors with open arms, and instead play and lose the cat and mouse game with Bush?

You know this is totally ridiculous. It's so obvious that the Bush administration is looking for the slightest opening to justify attacking Iran. Can someone please explain to me why exactly Iran "is one of America's greatest threats" as Mr. Bush puts it? It's very convenient that Bush can give the warning saying that if Iran continues to help insurgents in Iraq we will deal with them. How the hell do you verify if Iran is helping insurgents in Iraq???

However they did give Ron Paul some favorable articles last winter.
The best place
to hide a lie is right in front of your face. Let's get them used to seeing it that way when it happens they'll be used to it. Kinda like martial law. Let's do drills in the city during business hours so when we decide to take total control the sheep wont be alarmed. The biggest problem we face is that so many people are so conditioned that when something does happen no one really gets upset enough to change things.
We can all say what needs to be done, but who here led by example today?
