Happy Slavery Day to you all :D
You are now free for the rest of the year to effectively keep your earnings. Nothing like paying 30-40% taxes...approximately 3.5 months out of your year. So now that the first 3.5 months of this years involuntary servitude is done...you can keep the rest of the fruit of your labor for this year :D

Oh the mayhem...all order broke down...everything fell apart...the end of the world I tell you! Ahhh...that's right...nobody noticed a thing because they do NOTHING!!!! Ok...the little vampires suck a third of our life out of us every year...I guess that is something...however negative. We could trash a majority of the system and the average hard working citizen would look around at their community and say...'Hmmm...looks the same to me'.

Ahhh, but alas oh wooden shoe clad comrade :D ...that money at least goes back in the form of something...government healthcare and other crappy programs. I don't want those crappy programs...but crappy programs are more than the Zip/Zero here. If we had all your programs we would pay 80%. I did not count in all of the hidden taxes like sales tax, gax tax, and tons of 'government fees' that we also pay...for nothing. I personally want NOTHING, but without having to pay for NOTHING. I'd don't mind state taxes, but federal is the biggest waste to ever exist.

I argue about this same thing
In a Human Nutrition class I teach online. Everyone believes it is important that food stamps are available so people won't go hungry but I want to know why my hard earned tax money goes to cheeto puffs and ding dongs. That is not keeping anyone alive. Let them buy beans and rice and produce, that's it! They will be much better nourished and it will save a ton of money.
