I am dumbfounded as well when people say "I think he's got the best idea's, but he has no chance of winning". Our election process has become a total popularity contest, or maybe it always was. It doesn't matter what people stand for -- there is obvioulsy very little difference between McCain, Obama & Clinton, as there was last election between Bush & Kerry. The voting American public get herded into this mindset of voting for Tweedle Dum or Tweedle Dee because they're the most popular, not for what they stand for. That's why generally the person with the most charisma wins. People would rather have a beer with Bush than with Kerry, so the country gets run into the ground for 4 more years. (Although I am not addressing the issue that if Kerry would have been elected the country would have made a miraculous recovery, I don't believe that for a second. And I'm not addressing the voting irregularities that occured in Ohio which gave Bush the election -- in my opinion the election was stolen both in 2000 & 2004).
Who is in charge of his youtube channel. Why do they not put videos like these on the channel. 50,000 subscribers. I bet thousands and thousands of them do not pay attention anymore. Something so simple as putting this on the channel so 50,000 people will know about it. There are many other media appearances that should be put on there right away.
Weird guy ...... hahaha i think ron did great , ya kno wut im sayin , didnt admit to loosley but got the message acroos when the questions were asked ....
do they see the folly of their ways. Not really, though.
Cavuto STILL made it a point to interject his opinion that the IRS isn't likely to be eliminated. *sigh*
He did Dr. Paul some good lip service. He's typically been one of the only ones to do even that much. I'll give him that.
I heard Bill Cunningham singing Ron Paul's praises the other night. I never thought I'd hear that. Now that they think it's in the bag for McCain, they're trying to sway the RP people to their side, claiming they agreed with him all along. "Horse hockey," I say.

Ron Paul's ideas sounded pretty far fetched at the time and his honesty was a bit too much for most to handle. Add the fact that he was prognosticating some seemingly off the wall prospects of our economy, most in the mainstream media thought he was off his rocker.
Now you see Ron Paul's forecasts coming to fruition and you can actually se what he was saying all along was indeed true. When the truth is revealed, so if his message. Better late than never and I still feel his is continuing his run as he knows a chance to take over is there.
Getting the message across is just a guise as far as I see it and the road to the Whitehouse is still open. When he says he cannot win in the conventional sense, I believe he is referring to the popular poll process. The non-conventional avenue is the delegate process and perhaps we will all be surprise.
If they keep paying attention to Ron Paul as they are, people's eyes will be opened. Remember, a vast majority of America sucks from the teet of the mainstream.

The psychology of "I would have voted for him, if he had a chance to win" is utterly amazing. I can't tell you how many people I've heard said that. In fact, that is the last rationale everyone uses when they decide they still won't vote for Ron, after being enlightened about his impressive track record and political philosophies.
I ponder the thought of, if every one of those persons voted for Ron, what the numbers would have looked like.
My usual response is "As a voting American, it is your duty to vote for who you think should win, rather than voting for who you think is going to win." Casting your vote is not like placing a bid. You are not gambling. It is also unfair to not learn about Ron Paul, even if you know you wont vote for him. I've researched the other candidates, which solidifies my choice of president even more. But alas, these ideas are drilled into people's heads that he has no chances of winning.
Seems most people would rather be benched on the winning team, than having fun on the loosing team...
Ps. I still don't like when he "reminds" us that "they" called him a "quack"
Ron is so delightful about it and actually doesn't really concur.
For years, I have watched my father and how he used to act in many different settings. He is a red-blooded Republican and he wants to get his way on things no matter what they are and who can fault him for that. When a situation would not go towards his favor or if he were treated unfairly, he would start squawking to the manager or whoever else was in control. Did he get things the way he wanted them? But of course. Did he expend a lot of energy on the negative aspects of what was going on around him more than the positives? You bet ya he did.
Many years back I made a promise to myself that I would too get what I wanted in life. I would make sure that I was treated fairly in all aspects where I had control. There is one caveat to my plan that contradicted my father's plan though. I promised myself that I would completely ignore situations were I was mistreated on the marginal aspects of life. A waiter being rude to me was not worthy of my attention and time by complaining to the manager. Instead, when I was treated with superior service or someone went over and beyond my reasonable expectations, only then would I invest my time and energy to make sure the manager or whoever would hear my piece. I would instead invest my energies to the positive aspects of those who helped me and let the negative aspects go.
In that light, we Ron Paul supporters have spent much time firing off emails, letters, and phone calls to chastise those who have wronged the campaign of Ron Paul and us and I say we put that same effort and energy into those who have helped to advance our cause. You will feel better at the end of the day and so will those who help to stand up to tyranny.
So give Neil a pat on the back. Try it and just see how much better you feel and how much of a better reception Ron Paul will continue to get. PLus, you can attract more flies with honey than horsesh*t.
Words of wisdom! I think I'll take a cue from you and try to focus on the positives rather than the negatives. I find it is occuring naturally as I get older, but your thoughts are good ones. I find myself ignoring poor service and rewarding exceptional service (as rare as it is).
I wrote Neil and asked if he could have Ron on weekly on his Fox show at 4 for a sort of editorial and to have more of that Jonathan Hoenig (spelling) that seems to have sensibilities similar to Ron's with the exception of use of force in defending the country.
I am but a 29-year-old man with a lot to learn. They say a smart man learns from his own mistakes, but a wise one learns from other. Hopefully this pact with myself is a sign that perhaps I am becoming wiser, but in any event it just makes me feel better to compliment rather than complain.
I have to say the reactions I get in focusing on the positives are always pleasant and shocking. For instance, I took my pregnant wife and seven-year-old daughter out to eat at Texas Roadhouse last weekend. Since my wife is pregnant, she is quite irrational especially when it comes to food and our waiter was a pure gentleman and fully accommodated us to the end.
I went up to the front door to step outside for a smoke and asked to see the manager. You could see the disdain in everyone's eyes in that they believed they knew what was coming. When the manager presented himself to me, I made sure to let that know that so and so was just amazing and I thought he should know. The manager let a sigh out of relief and said he usually gets the other end of manager calls. I simply replied that I do not waste my time on nonsense as that and the manager probably is thinking that he should do the same.
The manager left with a smile, the waiter was probably given some sort of accolade and that waiter probably went home to his wife/girlfriend/family and was exceptionally nice to whomever he can in contact with that day. The point is not only can we spread the message of Ron Paul by focusing on the positives, but we can improve the world around us one compliment at a time.
My guess is that Cavuto feels like a total a$$ over that incident and has been trying to make it up to RP ever since.

that they've safely put away his threat. Big media is bad, but what's worse, are the ignorant masses that follow their lead. People don't think for themselves anymore, they want to follow the crowd, and the crowd is easily lead around by the sophisticated, and ever present media. Ask yourself, who in their right mind, would stand up a support the IRS with all the evidence of government waste and corruption. Evidently, everybody that stands up for McCain, Clinton, & Obama are quite content with business as usual. Mind boggling.
maybe he can get a spot on MSNBC with Pat Buchanan , who also got screwed by the establishment...They can all sit around and chuckle about the minor things the the chosen CFR candidates said or did that day.
Obama farted today and Hillary said nothing about it,while McCain was reported to be seen with food falling out of the side of his mouth............. What's your take on this Pat & Ron

This is why I chose this Bruce Lee quote as my signature. The finger is like the third party run and the White house is the moon. "they didn't think he had a chance". How sad it is that many, many voters sell their ability to influence others, so short. Particularly in the primaries. So what if the risk is that "your candidate" wouldn't win in the primary. So what? I'll bet a lot of voters would have been surprised at how well Dr. Paul could have done if they had voted their conscience instead of what they thought was popular.
Great interview. I wish that Cavuto would band with other pro-Ron Paul media and give him the coverage and respect he deserves.
OK, I concede that the media is very powerful and influential. If that admission is what it takes to get them behind Ron Paul, so be it. Help us, don't fight us. The stakes are too high. Of the four candidates still running, Ron Paul is the only one that continues to be consistent in his message. He is not participating in the "he said, she said" games. Ron Paul is ready, willing and able to be our next president. The rest of us just need help to make that happen.
