Citizenship By Blood?
Ron Paul rightly believes that we should end "birthright citizenship". This term originally applied to the children of slaves, not to the criminals who sneak across our border and give birth to anchor babies.
Ron Paul believes we shouldn't build a wall on the border. Instead, he proposes ending federal welfare mandates to the states, cutting off aid to foreign governments and going after scofflaw employers.
But, how do we decide who immigrates legally? Can we expect the U.S. Congress to come up with a reasonable policy? Any number they propose would be arbitrary.
I propose we let the People decide.
Give every citizen the option of sponsoring a foreign spouse. The spouse would not become a citizen, but their children would. This would ensure a melting pot rather than the boiling stew we have today. To ensure that no one abuses this system, we would deny voting privileges to any U.S. citizen who has children with more than one person.
If a citizen chooses not to sponsor a foreign spouse, that would be one less immigrant.
What do you think?

As a dual citizen who is married to a non-American, I find
your post offensive. Not all migrants are Mexicans who cross the border. My husband's first language is English, he is a university professor in civil engineering and probably knows the US Constitution better than you PLUS he doesn't have a polygamy fetish. I vote he stays and you go.
I also think you are full of BS and post just to have a laugh.

Did you even read my post?
How would your children be disqualified?
I don't have children.
However, I am monogamous.

You have coopted the word "monogamous"
to fit your relationship. "Monogamous" pertains to children. Just as "marriage" pertains to heterosexual couples and "civil unions" to others.
