PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER AND E-MAIL

Erik Ablin 202-514-2007 erik.ablin@usdoj.gov

He's the guy in charge of the new legislation to take the DNA of all people arrested.

If you want your voice heard then call and email him and tell everyone you know to stop this legislation. If you don't want the potential of your DNA becoming public knowledge (probably more likely to come with the thought crime bill and the draft on the horizon).

I sent a short and very

I sent a short and very polite email expressing my concern and inviting Mr. Albin to explain his position further.

Anyone doing this?

Anyone even try to call?

I'm not even going to bother

I'm not even going to bother calling cause apparently only press can talk to the esteemed erik ablin.

I'm sending that effing jerk an email, and it is a caustic one if I do say so myself.

What a bunch of little

What a bunch of little a**holes.

*fuming and furious*

Just tried it

Unless you're press you can't talk to Erik, so you know what to do.
I got the information from Dr. Katherine Albrecht on www.rprradio.com.

Hm. Define "Press"

Is a writer of a news blog "press"? Is someone who creates fliers and leaflets and newsletters "press"? Must one receive the AP newswire feed in order to be considered "press"?

I would (ha!) press them on their interpretation of that definition!

Cross-Posted

I just posted your information over on the "Feds to collect DNA from every person they arrest" thread.

BTW, Erik Ablin is Senior Counsel for the U.S. Department of Justice.
