The big march this summer

Why is there no discussion of it here? There is a thread under the general forums claiming it is now July 12th: http://www.dailypaul.com/...

...but there were also lots of previous threads touting June 21st as the date. As soon as Dr. Paul said June 21st, I booked my airline tickets, hotels, rental car, etc. It's now going to cost hundreds of extra dollars to switch to another date, but the problem is, July 12th seems no more certain than June 21st was.

I'm feeling that this is one thing that shouldn't be just haphazardly organized at the grassroots level. It is reminding me that although the "grassroots" effort during the primaries was phenomenal and probably the greatest of such effort to date, it still couldn't compensate for the lack of focus and drive of the official campaign.

And this permitting issue makes me sick. "Excuse me, corrupt government, may I have permission to demonstrate against your illegal activities? I'll even let you choose the date, so you can stock up on rubber bullets and pepper spray, and ensure the date to be least convenient to us."

If there's not some real orgainization to this soon, my wife and will be "marching" on June 21st (illegally, with no permit, cause we're bad apples), and we will be sorry that we couldn't make the real rally, but we did our best.
