Clark County Washington State Convention Triumph!

(This is in reference to the shameful display in Texas) and they get phonecalls to not let the RP people do this in their district- and are told "do what it takes". Im willing to bet that even many of their own people saw and were appalled- some regular Joes went home feeling like they had just been on the wrong side of some corrupt sh*t and are struggling with it. There are lots of Nicodemuses out there. When it has come to this and they are this desperate as to not even TRY to show a semblance of lawfulness in order to stop the tide, you know the end of all this will be ugly. people are going to get hurt. That same scenario played out in a different district mat very well have gotten physical. A few more displays like this and they will be.

Right out of the chute, the Rules Committee tried to pull a stunt by making the rules mandated, without being adopted by the floor. The chairman wouldn't hear any objections and insisted the rules have been adopted, despite not being presented to the floor for a vote. Then, the chairman immediately announced adjornment to district caucuses, and a few key individuals stormed the stage to either get the rules formally adopted, or strangle whoever got in their way of getting them adopted by the floor... so all the delegates get herded back into the convention auditorium so the rules can be adopted. Then someone motions to amend the rules, and BAM!, real quick, we now have a new rule allowing delegates looking to be sent to State Convention, 1 minute speeches to explain why they should be elected as such... of course, all the RPs had their speeches prepared and ready to go. It was glorious.

73 RP delegates out of 87 total going to state convention.

PASSED!

There are many others too.... we really cleaned this place up. I'm over-joyed by the extent that we helped en-lighten all the folks who had been neo-conned before this convention and ended up supporting this stuff after amazing comments from the plethora of Ron Paul delegates... every time a neo-con chap said anything goofy, 4 RPs stood up and shot him down decisively. The CCTV of this thing needs to be YouTubed, it was that good.

The movers-and-shakers that made this all happen, from one year ago 'til now, i am SO grateful and appreciative of everything you've done locally to make the true conservative movement many times more powerful than the weak-sauce neo-con cabal.

This is one of those defining victories that strengthens you for the last leg : ))

That's good to hear. King county was filibustered. Heads up at state. Check out WaGOP's new agenda. It looks as though they are trying to skip the vote for a presiding chairman so they can deploy their cronies in the needed platform and rules positions to contest all RP delegates. Expect a fight and shenanigans in Spokane. We really need to show up in force. Even if you are not a delegate or and alternate. we need bodies and in overwhelming numbers. If you live in Idaho you should come by and show support.

The highlight of the convention for me was when the resolution to repeal the patriot act passed. It was even more gratifying than being elected as a state delegate. The delegate success is a statement of the leadership and commitment we have in this area.

Passing the resolution to repeal the patriot act was just amazing. The debate was lively and I really believe it passed due to non-Ron Paul folks seeing it for what it is, and that is so encouraging.

Today we head to Spokane, from Spokane we roll to St Paul. Shhh…the something big happening here.
