Nueces County Republican Convetion

pull out the Constitution- ALL of the documents that this great nation was founded on and show the the parts where we are implored to relenquish power - by force if necessary - to prevent the destruction of liberty- and ask them "what circumstances do YOU people think the founding fathers were referring to? What exactly do you think would warrant such action? What CAN you people do that would cross that line? What havent you done that the founding fathers instructed us to rebel against?".

...there needs to be a mass exodus of registered Republican voters reregistering as Independents! We need to show the GOP that they need us. I sincerely hope that the GOP falls apart! They make me sick.

As an independent Baptist preacher, I learned a long time ago that you cannot resurrect a dead, liberal, Baptist Convention that disrespects its rule of law - the Bible. Likewise, a political convention that disrespects its rule of law - the Republican Convention Rules is hopeless and cannot be salvaged.

I think Ron Paul supporters ought to continue doing what they can in the remaining primaries and delegation battles, but ultimately, the GOP WILL NOT allow a takeover (restoration) of the party.

I've been saying this for months now, we need the biggest, most dedicated, aggressive, grassroots, groundswelling revolution ever seen in the political history of America to vault Ron Paul beyond the denial of the press in a nation-sweeping write-in vote for President of the United States.

However, as glorious as that would be, I do not know if that would work because I do not know how the Electoral College will respond to a write-in candidate who wins the majority vote.

Does anybody know how the Electoral College would treat a write-in candidate winner???

Probably nothing will come of it, but I emailed every news spot I could telling them the GOP was breaking its own rules and subverting democracy. I linked this youtube video and made no mention of Ron Paul. Regardless of the supporters, this is big, and I hope some news office runs with it, if even only because they are liberally-biased.

THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES, THAT CAN HAPPEN....cause if this type of stuff happens at state or even national....we will be left with ....one option....civil war or no more freedoms..

I am TOTALLY sending this to the InSane supporters I know -- mostly, they are "mature" people who consider themselves loyal Republicans, and believe that they should support InSane because he is the pick of the party, and they trust that the party "knows best."

I think it's time to take a page from how the Native Americans do it... our Tribal Council and General Council meetings are run by Robert's Rules as well.

If this had happened at General Council the speaker would have been rushed and beaten.

This is the reason we are now checked at the door for knives and weapons... there have been a few stabbings and a shooting or two...lol.

However, a stage rush and a good pummeling woulda been the order of the day the way we do things.

I get the feeling 95% of the country could vote RP and theyd still rig the election. Things could get really ugly soon. All of you paranoid militia survivalists out there very well may be seeing your ideologies en vogue before you know it.

For those who haven't seen the video, unapproved delegates were added to the delegate list for the state convention. When some wary and informed attendees became aware of the situation, they called "point of order" which means that an error has been made. To do so, one can simply stand and interrupt whatever or whoever is speaking at the time and the chairman must acknowledge the whistle-blower.

However, when a large group of people became aware of the errors of the man reading the list of (unapproved) delegates, the chairman, Mike Bertuzzi, completely disregarded the crowd and approve the list of delegates even as many members of the crowd protested.

A sergeant of arms then dragged members out of the convention.

The Corpus Christi Caller - Times "reported" on the convention's hijacking. However, they sided with Bertuzzi and framed us as the hijackers even though Bertuzzi was the perpe"traitor".

That convention sounded more like a dictatorship.
