Wasting our time...

Folks we waste a lot of time and energy doing things that are ineffective. For example the marches on Washington They are largely ineffective and a huge waste of resources that could be used for more effective things. yeah I know Ron Paul asked for them but that doesn't mean they will be effective.

I am not trying to discount anyones efforts or intentions but lets face it they are not whats going to change this country. If we could get a million people to march on Washington it might have an impact however I don't think it would be all that significant. However the sad reality is we cannot get that many yet.

Also The blame game does nothing but but divide us. It's nobodies fault its a combination of things. The fact is it is going to take time and we need to build a coalition so we could have a million people show up to march if we want to.

We are at a crossroads so to speak. Either we stop the nonsense and feel good stuff and buckle down for the long haul and do what we know works or we continue to wasting a lot of our efforts and resources until we scatter and fade away.

Here is what we have learned works so far. Phone canvassing, physical canvassing, and ads in local papers. We can use those 3 things for more then just this election. We can use it for local candidates and unseating bad politicians etc.,and even spreading the America Freedom to Fascism video. etc. etc.Think of all the money raised for the marches and the blimp etc. and that could have put ads in every local paper across the country.

We are heading for a depression. It most likely will happen because we have a corrupt clueless congress who will not do their duty and change the underlying problems causing it. We don't have time to waste on things we know don't work anymore and we don't have time to blame everything or anyone we don't agree with for the the failures in this campaign. Lets just learn from our mistakes and move forward. If you have a problem with the way something is being done then get off your ass and do something about it instead of complaining and chastising someone else for their efforts.

We are planting the seeds for a rebirth of freedom but we may have to wait a while for the harvest. I feel like I am coming to a saturation point with all this so I am putting this out here, take it for what it is worth.

While I commend everyone's

While I commend everyone's efforts to elect Ron Paul and fix the problems with the Corporation, the critical issue is reseating the original jurisdiction government that had created and still has the ability to control said Corporation once restored. More people need to wake up and get involved in this. The people of the nation need to secure their land patents and participate in the original jurisdiction elections.

One can learn more about it here: http://teamlaw.org/

July 12!!!!!!!

I will be at the march and rally on July 12. I will be bringing my teenage son. I will be there for several reasons.

I will be there because it will be the biggest gathering of freedom loving Americans in generations and I want to share the energy. Not going to the march on July 12 will be like an anti-war hippie not going to Woodstock.

I will be there because I want my son to see what freedom looks like and what free people do to try and keep their freedom and so he knows that, even if we fail, it is not because I did nothing.

I will be there because it will be FUN and Ron Paul reminded us to have fun.

I will be there because Ron Paul will be there. He has done more for the cause of liberty than any man in my lifetime and I want to show him my support in a personal way.

I will be there because I want to meet smart chicks! Hahahahahaha!

All of that being said, I don't expect the march itself to wake up very many sheep or cause congress to change its ways out of fear. But we the awakened need to keep our own momentum going as a national movement. Nothing does that like a gathering.

By all means, people should continue to do the other things you suggest. The real awakening of this Country is going to be accomplished one person at a time, mind-to-mind, heart-to-heart. But don't discount the importance of moral among the troops.

If you don't want to go to the march, that's cool. But don't discourage us. If you want to support the movement but don't want to spend the dough on going to Washington, organize a march for that day in your town!

The movement NEEDS a rally to bring us together.

I think the real problem is

I think the real problem is this "waking up" thing. So many think they've woken up, when in reality they were only dreaming that they were awake...many have woken up from the dream.

Ron needs to coordinate this! NOW! HELLO!!! RON! NOW!!

Ron Paul himself needs to coordinate this up.

- We will march on D.C. that's already decided.
- We will do other things.

Now Ron needs to direct this force, and coordinate it by gently directing it.

- Deciding on projects.
- Setting dates.
- Gently settling conflict.

Ron also needs to come out with many many many more YouTube videos. And he must ask people exclicitly to subscribe to his channel.
This way he can continue to do, say weekly, addresses all the way up to the next election in 2010 and 2012.

We have to think and work long term, and Ron himself needs to take the coordinating role.

NOW!!!

remember what the Doc said

He's not going to do that. He said, 'the campaign is technically over'. He did say he will do his best to support the activities of volunteers.

We need to stay sharp and aware as the world changes. Opportunities will present themselves for us to stand up and work for the restoration of liberty, both locally and nationally.

I believe

The dvds are the best idea. Not sure how cheap they could be gotten, not sure which one is most potent. It is kind of a gift and I think it might get watched.

Apparently newspapers get seen, but I don't know how. It is my understanding that their circulation is greatly decreasing and I personally never look at one unless I am doing it for a specific reason.

Telephoning, I have done so much of this before the primaries and people don't answer their phones. Then they don't like the interruption if they do answer. I did it, but I am burned out on doing it.

Walking the neighborhood. Same thing. People hate for their doorbell to ring and often don't answer the door. Nothing is worse than standing at a door that does not open when you know they are inside.

I'd really like to see hour long infomercials on tv. Or on dvd. Dr. Paul and three others. I would really like to hear less doomsday-that loses many young people who are not hurting in today's world-and much more about solutions and what each one needs to do today. The dems have hoards of people following them because of their "feel good" policy of "change." That is what people want to hear apparently. Confirm what they already "know" and tell them what we can do about it. They are not going to believe what they don't already know. They won't believe speculation or fear of what the future holds. It is too harsh and scary and unreal to them.

I think we need to make a list of the websites or blogs that need Ron Paul people monitoring comments and responding to them. Too many of us do not know how to find these places. If some people know where Ron Paul people need to spread out on the web, it would be helpful to have a long, long list of sites for Ron Paul People to adopt and check into daily. Other places like this site where many people go who are not Ron Paul people who need to hear the message. This site does not need us here and it really is a pleasurable waste of time to be here.

there is also the motivational side of things

Fortune Favors the Bold

to keep people motivated to do the work stuff, like canvassing, you need "feelgood" events like rallies, to keep people excited.

Just so you aren't...

standing alone here, I agree with most everything you are saying.

Yes, we need to stick to the stuff that works, but we also need to recognize the unconventional and untraditional. I think a rally, no matter its size, will have a sort of "look, here we are, we are doing something" kind of effect. Also, it will facilitate networking that would otherwise not be available.

Then again, marches and rallies are prone to infiltration. However, I do think these gatherings are neccessary to get people out of their shells as well. I've got 7 people that are ready to go, we just are waiting for a date.

Date

I believe July 12 is settled, right?

I thought it was June 21st.

So what is it my friends, June 12th or June 21st?
