McCain: US economic woes 'psychological'

Republican presidential candidate Senator John McCain (R-AZ) suggests much of America's economic woes may be merely 'psychological'.

In a recent interview with Fox News, McCain said the fact that America's oil and gas prices have reached all-time high has deeply concerned him.

"I'm very concerned about it…. And obviously the way it's been going up is just terrible," claimed the Arizona senator.

"But I think psychologically - and a lot of our problems today, as you know, are psychological - the confidence, trust, the uncertainty about our economic future, ability to keep our own home," he added.

"Kuato"

The only thing psychological about our collective problems as a country is the psychological trauma brought about by 9/11 that "Kuato" McCain and his fellow one-worlders have manipulated, exploited and perpetuated as an instrument of tyranny.

"We don't have to start a brand new revolution...All we have to do is restore the original Constitution." -Ron Paul

I guess the limits on purchases of rice, flour and oil

that are starting to pop up in he United States are psychological too?

It is true that many a consumer is feeling as though a trip to the grocery store nowdays is some sort of sticker shock nightmare.

hmm

Psychological foreclosures? I guess when you sleep in the street you could dream that it is actually a water bed in a mansion and psychologically correct it.

Yea right,

oil at 117.50 per barrel and its all psychological...he must think we are idiots. People say they cannot believe he would cut prices during the summer, why not for good.

That's right

and do you ever notice when your doctor has no clue on how to treat your malady he also claims it's "psychological?" We need both economical and medical freedom!

UMMM

Do they pay for gas?

Actually, no...

He's an elected official... you pay for his gas.

Said

like a true elitist.

Finish Your Sentence, Please, John

Aside from what InSane said, did you notice that he didn't complete his sentence?

Start with where he says, "But I think psychologically" and go on. Everything after that phrase is parenthetical -- but what, John??

He probably didn't even realize that he said, actually, nothing. Nor, I guess, did the reporter notice...

Hoo-hoo, boy; Mr. Coherent in the Oval Office. ::shudder::

remember this...

ron paul will be in the oval office- will you picture this please. ahhhhh-that's better!! smile and KNOW!!! know that the white house is paging Dr. Paul. president ron paul president ron paul president ron paul

It's not gonna happen

if John McCain is the republican nominee, say hello to President Clinton II or President Obama (I still firmly believe Hillary will win the nomination). Not that that's very comforting...

In a screwed up way he may have a point.

After all, our dollar only has value because we believe it does. It really isn't worth anything at all.

Our current government has power over us because the majority of us allow it to. It really doesn't, yet we allow it.

I'd have to agree with him that the majority of our issues are psychologically based...

since for all intents and purposes we currently live in an asylum.

The country needs a new kind of drug.. Lyburtie would be a good name for it.. ;).

money, is, after all symbol manipulation

Fortune Favors the Bold

If you think about skinnerian psychology,or Pavlov's conditioning, you will see that the power of money is ultimately based on consensus reality. If nobody believed the elites had power, they would cease to have it. Also check out Sun Tzu's The Art of War.

ok, I will take deep slow

ok, I will take deep slow breaths before I go off on a tangent here.
Damn if my spouse was worth millions I wouldn't give a shit about the price of gas either.
I would just say them dumb americans are so f'd up.
I realize that it is just psychological that groceries are up 30% in the last 2 months. gas is up 200% since we went after those nasty wmd's. Goodness look at all the overpriced garbage in my house from china. Gee, have I lost 2 jobs to india in the last 5 years... That all has to be psychological. I must need mental help... no if I need mental help then I can't own a gun... never mind that silly amendment that says I can bear arms. ok ok the deep slow breaths didn't help.
P.s. I really appreciate this comment coming from a treasonous traitor that should have been executed years ago!

Why are they so

Why are they so ignorant.

Why is a good question. I have to ask people "what will you get if obama is president? What do you think you'll get? How will that benefit you and your family"?

Usually get gibberish as a response.
