Another PC in my home, can. I feel like I have been blacklisted for seeing so many videos some would rather not. Is it a technical problem, when I get the message, sorry, this video is no longer in service, while using the other PC, it is available? Any help is most appreciated.

gets 4 min. of debate time on average compared to the "1st tier" candidates 18 min. of debate time. And as far as sufficient MSM coverage and RP's campaign and their inability to take advantage of it is simply ridiculous. One cannot take advantage of something that does not exist.
The reality is that even tho most people didn't watch the debate such a long time before the year for voting and by the time the new year started (2008) the media (following instructions) shut him out of the media coverage because he does not play the establishment game.
If he was giving the same old worn out political answers the other were & he If he wasn't chosen by the establishment he would have dropped out like their other chosen candidates and we his supporters would be falling in line like the sheep the establishment want.
In this nation 1/2 the people don't register to vote because they don't think it will do any good. Until Ron Paul stepped into this campaign ther is no way I would have registered Republican and supported any of the candidates.

Sorry to bash a fellow Paul supporter but this guy is clueless. A study of how much Ron Paul activity is going on on the internet is not a statistically valid measure of overall popularity offline and on, among Americans. Clearly he's never taken a class in Statistics. Those who frequent the internet to look for information on political candidates are not representative of the average voter. Moreover, he's ignoring actual scientific polling taken offline. Why isn't he consulting those those as an indication of how popular Paul was? There is no excuse for such stupidity, or at least extreme negiligence by not looking at all information available.
If Paul's popularity was accurately gauged by internet activity, then Paul would have won the very first primary.
And apparently he hasnt been watching the news over the past year. There were many stories in the media about Paul's popularity on the internet on all the mainstream channels.
Then he ends up with conspiracy theory nonsense about someone centrally controlling the media, based on his false conclusion that the internet is a guage of Paul's overall popularity. If he only went out in the street to ask people in the street about him, he would learn quickly that most people haven't even heard of him. Google searches and videos being made are not a measure of overall popularity among the populace.
Also he doesn't know how to do a Google search for a phrase. "Ron Paul" has to be put in quotes. Silly old geezer. It's funny because it's a professionally produced video and a great voice, which leads you to believe something substantial is being presented, but it's just fluff because if you really look at it, it's all nonsense.

I had a difficult time meeting someone that DIDN'T support Ron Paul after watching and listening to what he had to say in the debates.
I know a standard member of the general population is not going to cancel plans and routines to sit down and watch a debate and if they did, may not think critically enough to ask themselves why it is that there is unfair advantage provided some candidates over others BY THE MEDIA in the form of an unbalanced distribution of "air time" during the debates.
Did you visit each respective media outlet's website during and after the debates? If you had you would have known that the VAST majority of the postings were complaints stating there was an unfair advantage given to the anointed candidates and they didn't like that because they wanted an equal amount of information on all the candidates because they had not chosen a candidate. They didn't want someone else (the media) essentially making up their minds for them by deliberately withholding equal time.

IMissLiberty says:"The search engines could be counting more "Ron" and "Paul" searches than "Obama" or "Hillary" because "Ron" and "Paul" are more common names."
I tried the search engine, and that's not the way it works, as far as I could tell: It doesn't break up names in first names and surnames and search for each individually, but rather search for the combinations, i.e. "Ron Paul" and not "Ron" AND "Paul". Same for "Barack Obama", so unless there's an awful lot of popular Ron Pauls around, I believe Jerry Day's logic is sound enough for the conclusions he draw. Even if he is looking for evidence to prove foregone hypotheses.

The point the guy is trying to make is that it doesn't matter how popular your candidate is, if you don't get the corporate media's "blessing", you don't stand a chance.
This campaign is living proof of that. Ron Paul had the biggest grassroots movement possibly ever for a presidential candidate. He was the most popular on the internet by far. (People on the internet are generally better informed too though, I might add.)
Just imagine if Ron Paul was treated fairly in the debates. Instead of getting 9 minutes speaking time out of 90, he got 25 or 30.
Imagine if he was mentioned 1500 times per day on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, etc. Imagine if he was the subject of "Bowling for Votes" like I saw on CNN with Hitlery and Obama Bin Laden the other day.
Imagine if they didn't say things like "kooky" and mention "conspiracy theorists", or say that he was "a long shot" or that he "has no chance" every time they mentioned Dr. Paul. Imagine if they asked McCain if he would support Dr. Paul if he himself ended up dropping out.
You've seen that even bad coverage for the front-runners is better than no coverage at all like Dr. Paul is getting. The other candidates are dispicable... crooked... bought and paid for... and everyone knows it. They even tell you that on the msm. But they know it doesn't matter. People are so apathetic in this country, all they have to do is parade the faces of the people they want in office on the idiot box every day... day in and day out... and people will vote for them.
About 10% of Americans really know what's going on in this country, and I think most of them would/will vote for Dr. Paul. The rest are simple-minded, but mostly just brainwashed by the msm. They are too busy trying to pay their bills so they can keep up with the Joneses next door... too busy trying to pay for their overpriced home and their SUV payment to even have time to pay attention to why it just keeps getting harder and harder, when it should be becoming easier. All this technology... all this economic power (we used to have)... we should've been living on easy street. If we had a constitutional-sized government, I think we would've been.
Now we're screwed. And they're gonna keep screwin' us into the dirt. Sorry, but that's just how I feel. I don't know when people are gonna wake up, but I'm afraid it's gonna be too late.

... which is the same mistake the "global warmers" make with CO2 (a planet warmed by the sun will have more CO2 in the atmosphere as it is released from organic material in the soil, for instance).
The number of hits for other candidate might be caused by increased media coverage, but both increases might be caused by some other phenomenon. That's not to say that the increase in search hits aren't caused by media coverage (I think there's a real good probability it is), but you can't make that statement merely from the data presented.
Who is behind the media charge? Sombody, somewhere, is calling the shots for the big media. It's just too coincidental that even the so called conservatives like Hannity, Rush and the others shut out all conversation of Ron Paul. It's a real shame that this country has sunk to such low levels, and the masses stand idly by.
Funny but in all reality if ol John McCain roped in 6 million in one day of fundrasing online the damn media pundits would still be singing a song and dance while proclaiming him god. What coverage did RP get? Maybe 4 stories in which they marginalized him with words like fringe, kook, longshot...you get the point hopefully. But funny analogy none the less jerry.
We can all say what needs to be done, but who here led by example today?

You really need to go back and examine December 16th news coverage. December 16th and 17th were relatively dead, and I was more than relatively pissed. However, Ron started trotting around the news circuits on December18th, and the coverage, in my recollection, was pretty decent -- way better than it was prior to the 16th. YouTube can corroborate this. I generally judge news coverage by the amount of co-workers willing to approach me about Ron Paul, since I am the token office gun-toting, freedom-loving nut-Job.
I will concede that It was VERY sad that it took a mass, decentralized investment of 6 million dollars to get the amount of coverage that the other candidates were getting, well, for free. The ROI on Ron coverage compared to the money we spent vying for attention was abysmal.
Does this completely deny media bias? No. What I think there was was a reality gap -- okay a reality VACUUM AS LARGE AS SPACE ITSELF (hey, how could I be a Ron Paul supporter without gross hyperbole), within which neither Paul supporters NOR the media deigned to dwell.
The media had decided pretty early on that Ron Paul was an anomaly with a small, but passionate amount of supporters. They DID underestimate his draw. They NEVER anticipated the money he would bring in and they NEVER anticipated that 1 million people would vote for him in the primaries. One is left to assume that there was a conspiracy right? Traditional media still just doesn't put a lot of stock in the Internet, because it doesn't perform for advertisers as consistently as TV or radio does. Viral still isn't a formula, no matter how much advertising wonks swear that it is.
Vocal Ron Paul supporters had decided pretty early on that Ron Paul was the greatest thing EVER and that, tens of millions of people must obviously be in love with Ron as much as they were. I mean, how could they not? Every forum they visited, every mainstream news online article read, every blog they haunted, etc...etc...were all in love with Ron, either in the original content or in the comments section below the fold.
So Ron Paul supporters would work themselves up into a towering Libertarian frenzy, and they would go to the traditional media and scream "WHY AREN'T YOU LISTENING TO US -- THIS GUY IS HUGE OH BTW 911 WAS AN INSIDE JOB". And the media quietly looked at Ron's vocal supporters and then looked at its playbook and determined that Ron Paul was just another fringe candidate (instead of realizing what the Republican party had accurately surmised -- that he was another Barry Goldwater...and that Goldwater got PANTSED in the general election, and should be avoided at all costs)
Which is why I brought up "Snakes on a Plane". Everybody thought that "Snakes" was going to be one of the greatest pranks ever -- the studio thought it was going to be huge, because the Internet was going nuts over the meme. There was a reality gap. The media never does its job. Jefferson said centuries ago that the only truth to be found in the media is, at best, in the advertisements.

Jerry Day
The Andy Rooney of the Internets :)
Accuracy of Jerry Day's observations
I think the whole point is...
I don't know when people are gonna wake up, but I'm afraid it's gonna be too late.
yes but
not perfect logic, but great video. At least he doesn't claim Total voter fraud. clearly, Ron Paul inspires the most active support.

Good Video, flawed logic
I'm not saying this isn't a good video and makes some good points, but there are some problems with the logic.
For one, anyone interested in Hillary or Obama or McCain does not have to search for news.
Everyone who searches for news is not necessarily a supporter.
The search engines could be counting more "Ron" and "Paul" searches than "Obama" or "Hillary" because "Ron" and "Paul" are more common names.
It could be that yours truly searches for Ron Paul news repeatedly when she should be working. (Yes, it could be my fault he's so "popular.")
That said, I've seen the rally videos, and the media are definitely incompetent.

Also, Correlation is not Causation
... which is the same mistake the "global warmers" make with CO2 (a planet warmed by the sun will have more CO2 in the atmosphere as it is released from organic material in the soil, for instance).
The number of hits for other candidate might be caused by increased media coverage, but both increases might be caused by some other phenomenon. That's not to say that the increase in search hits aren't caused by media coverage (I think there's a real good probability it is), but you can't make that statement merely from the data presented.
Jerry asked the BIG question,
Who is behind the media charge? Sombody, somewhere, is calling the shots for the big media. It's just too coincidental that even the so called conservatives like Hannity, Rush and the others shut out all conversation of Ron Paul. It's a real shame that this country has sunk to such low levels, and the masses stand idly by.

Thanks for embedding this very important video. I've woken up so many people to the media bias thanks to this.
Can you see a mass exodus from cable and TV? I sure can.

Snakes on a Plane Anyone?
Hi, I'm Jerry Day.
Did you ever wonder why Snakes on a Plane did so horribly in comparison to all the other Summer blockbusters in the year of 2006?
All trends on the Internet suggest that Snakes on a Plane was more popular in contrast to the traditional media coverage that it got.
One can only conclude that evil forces were at work.
I'm Jerry Day, and thanks for looking at charts with me.
lmao...

You really need to go back
You really need to go back and examine December 16th news coverage.
Thank you, Jerry!
I've embedded the video in my blog called Naked Liberty. This is exactly the kind of information we need to spread like wildfire. People just don't realize how much power the media has over their lives. If you get a minute, please check it out & leave me a comment to let me know you stopped by! ...on a side note... Who the hell does Bob Barr think he is with his latest google ad ??? I forget the folks who said "I don't trust him" or "I'm not too sure about this guy", or whatever, but they were spot on about this man.

Yes sir Iveseen
that would be me, one of those who said "I don't trust this Bob Barr" guy -- something sure stinks in BobBarr Town.
Former gung-ho gestapo on the War on Drugs, opposed to dying people being allowed to have medicinal pot, formerly employed by the CIA, stuck his nose in same-sex legislation. Oh yeah, and he voted for the Patriot Act (although he did add a little "clause" that made it all okay).
And now he's all for civil liberties, smaller government and freedom for all? Ummm, nope, don't think so.
Just saw his google ad yesterday at the top of this forum -- trying to rope in Ron Paul supporters that are "sad" because he's "out of the race" -- the link goes straight to his webpage. What a thieving tool.
Yep. I called it. Wait and see. This Bob Barr guy is a real snake wearing a Ron Paul hat.
Of course it helps matters that Eric Dondero is actively supporting him. ha ha
