ATTENTION ! To be fair to Phil Donahue he did defend his guests in part 5 against a rabid guest. He was provocative and acted a little rabid himself but he was a little fair to his guests not entirely though. It would also be fair to mention that Donahue changed many of his views now and is worried about the madness thats going on. He was also barred from the MSM and his show got cancelled because of his opposition to the war for that I commend him and I think you should too. Thnks for all your support fellow Patriots. Special thnks to Lynnopoly, Alan Smith, and cyndezu

Funny how prophetic this was

Who'd have thought Naomi Wolf would have been saying the same thing 20 years later.

yeah but the b**** endorsed Obama instead of Ron Paul

So much for her "Constitutionalism"

"let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our freedoms & wealth are in jeoprady"
Ron Paul

A question

Wasn't this originally aired shortly before the bombing in OKC? If memory serves me right this was a piece they tried to use to link McVeigh to the Michigan militia. But I remembered the show I watched where Phil Donahue said he wouldn't want them to defend him and they replied he wouldn't need their help as he had money. They also went into more detail about the difference of semi automatic and automatic on the one I saw. The one I saw he also asked if they thought they had a right to have a tank in their garage. So not sure if this is the same show (episode?)
Also the attention span and intelligence (or lack of) by the audience explains why it is so hard to explain Ron Paul to the general public.

this is old tv

if this was aired now it would be a lot more enlightened.if only they read the patriot act and the military commisions act :(

I grew up

watching Phil.

I don't think he is actually siding with either. just raising obvious questions.

watch the videos Lyn put up, Shut up and sing is great!

thank you

I tend to agree with you. Thnks for helping change my opinion

How prophetic

some of those militiamen were in what they were saying about how the globalist are trying to do away with the Constitution, way back in the 80's, and what we see going on now.

An "Elitist" has the right to change his mind and to use the

HYDROMAN
Constitution in any way he or she sees fit in order to support their view in any argument !

Donahue's the best

Great links. I disagree the suggestion that Donahue was 'aleep' during the 90s interview. He put the men on the air and let them explain themselves. For that alone, he should be celebrated.

Beyond that, he was neutral and thought-provoking. Whether he was asking a question of the men on the stage or opponents in the audience, he was challenging, drawing their opinions out. He is the most sophisticated host EVER of a show that included engaging the studio audience.

Also, like Ron Paul, Donahue discusses his upbringing and admits his current opinions had to evolve over time. If we are critical of people who admit that, how do we expect the 'movement' to grow?

thnks both of you

Great videos and nice thoughts by Alan Smith

those are the views that start a good conversation and an insightful debate

When was this taped?

He's been off the air for awhile, I think?

after Waco

they mention it. 1993 or later

right

Fortune Favors the Bold

funny how they used to say NAFTA was a conspiracy theory

and that the tri-lateral commission didn't exist...

This was taped back in the

This was taped back in the good ole days when the National debt was $4.5 Trillion according to the video.
Now its $9 Trillion. So at 1 billion a day this means about 15 years ago

What are we at now, $3 billion/day?

This was frustrating to watch, but I hope what was achieved were small seeds of truth were planted so that now, 15years later, they can see.

I can't get video at this location

Fortune Favors the Bold

but i'm curious. What was the topic of the discussion?

Phil Donahue must have a

vested interest in keeping secret all the stuff that is REALLY going on, eh?

This is

typical Phil Donahue. I can't stand to watch him.

MUST WATCH

Thanks for digging this up. I remember watching this when I was in highschool and thinking that these men, while good natured, were wrong and paranoid. But they were visionaries. MUST WATCH
Semper Fortis

Boy, is was hard to watch

Boy, is was hard to watch Phil railroad those guys. He did not even give them a chance to say anything.

yeah that was hard pizza

but since he now got the shaft by the MSM I wonder what he thinks now looking back at what he did and how he treated those people.
