(ALERT!) ** Pennsylvania Polling Issues for Tomorrow**

***I just got this email from Sarah Khan (sgillern@gmail.com) from Delaware County Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group.***
Well, the Republican party is getting really desperate..... Their latest trick is to try to prohibit us form handing out our campaign literature. We are confident that although they may be temporarily successful, as soon as we get this matter before a judge we will prevail. Therefore, we are asking you all to do the following:
1. Carry only a small number of ballot cards with you at a time (25-50)
2. If anyone other than a policeman orders you to stop distributing the ballot cards, you are under no obligation to do so unless they can show you a court order.
3. If a policeman does come, he will ask you to stop and he may confiscate and destroy your ballot cards. This is why you don't want to be carrying a large number. If he insists, go ahead and give him the cards and then call 1-800-278-8905 and leave a message with your name, number, polling location and what happened.
4. Once we have received word that we have won the case we will call everyone who has left a message and tell them to resume.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to have everthing resolved as quickly as possible. Although this certainly adds an extra set of challenges to our day, remember they wouldn't be doing this if they didn't see us as a threat and that is a victory in itself.

There may be limits to how close you get to the polling place
100 feet, I think, at least in California.
But you should be able to stand nearby and hand them out on any public sidewalk. Also, hold signs, but perhaps a second person can do that, depending on your strategy.
It always helps to have a sign as that indicates he's still in the race. Also, make sure the poll workers aren't giving out any false information to voters, such as that he has dropped out. (They think they're being truthful and helpful.)

Its only 10 feet here in Pa, and most of us in Delco signed up to be official poll watchers.... at 8 PM we can go in and see the results with our own eyes

We made up our own slate cards and put 'paid for by the candidates' on it.
Delco ( District 7) is the most f**ked up distict in PA..... The GOP machine will stop at NOTHING to keep a hold on this district.
They arent going to get anywhere, as our slate cards are not against any laws....

I live in Deleware County. I'm not a delegate but I would like to vote for the Ron Paul delegates, where do I do that? When do I do that? How do I that? I know, I know I'm late...I just hope not too late.

with a sneaky cell-cam. I think discreet is the way to go at this stage when filming to avoid looking like you are looking for a fight and twisted and labeled "disruptive". Cell cams are great because you can shift your hand and just look like youre on the phone : )

We don't seem to have that issue in Lancaster County, I was told through the grapevine that Del.Co had ballot position issues, I called our local election office & we didn't have that issue...Good luck Pennsylvania - get out the vote!

Delco Ballot issues
The Machine make columns instead of rows, so it is laid out like this:

instead of laying out like this:
xxx B32
RP B33
RP B34
RP B35
xxx B36
GOP MACHINE B37
GOP MACHINE B38
GOP MACHINE B39
Therefore, even with us 'winning' the lottery for slots 2, 3, and 4... the layout puts their people on the right hand side....
FYI the xxx names are anti machine people, but not RP supporters....
How low can they stoop
Just got back from voting........ and I was wrong, the delegates arent 4 and 4........... they actually put all 5 NON MACHINE GOP on the left and the 3 endorsed Machine GOP on the right!!!!!
After this week, D7 supporters are going to start looking into fixing the Machine... its old and broken!!!!
