and his methods even more so. And as an entrepreneur selling fantasy coins, may the free market allow as many to be bought and sold as people wish! I love his parody quarters.
Thats the right attitude to have about it- let the market decide. It looks like on Ebay people are paying alot for these- I hope its not because they think if it becomes a reality they will have a rare forerunner to a new currency because If it comes to that- these coins- like video game tokens wont be worth beans- and youll really need beans : )) as artwork and a cool thing to show your friends/co-workers though - they rock. But the circulation dosnt match the contrived value as a true collectible. I smell a beanie baby ^^
Its scary to think that this is being discussed huh. Remember the Lira? boy the Italians took a beating when they switched to Euros. But something tells me if the circumstances come about to where this is the "first" coinage of a new and official line of minting, the climate wont be favorable for numismatists. As an investment it seems its a quick buck fad - and The day we're living in an"Amero society" you'll be wishing youd spent that $100 for a shiny prototype coin on gold or beans.
Don't get too worked up about these just yet. They are only novelty items from an artist who also sells Parody State Quarters (some of which are pretty dang funny). They can be bought direct from the artist at the following link:
"I have received numerous inquiries as to my personal stand on the North American Union (NAU) issue.
My goal with these coins is not to endorse a Union of North America or a common "Amero" currency. I fully support the United States Constitution, and I would not welcome (in any form) a diminishment of its provisions. I expect that these coins will help make more people aware of the issue and the possible ramifications. I leave it up to others to decide if they are in favor of, or against a North American Union. And I encourage citizens to voice their approval or disapproval of government plans that impact them."
And 19 terrorist caused 9/11. The MSM tells the Truth. The Bible is the end all be all of knowledge in the Universe. The Easter Bunny and Santa Clause are real. I am funny. MIght be a slight possibility the last one is true.
We can all say what needs to be done, but who here led by example today?
This is who.............
