On the Dem side there is a delegate count, but on the Repub side there is not.
Why?

Some thoughts from Pennsylvania...

As a Pennsylvanian and a conservative republican, here are my thoughts and observations after yesterday's PA primary. Most people, democrat or republican, agree with most if not all of Ron Paul's principles, whether they know it or not, based on personal observations. It's just that the ideas are too much, too severe for people to believe they could happen. Gets them out of their comfort zone, and lazy minds don't like that.

Most people, even staunch republicans see Ron Paul as a spoiler candidate, or another "off the map" nut job, even if they know really nothing about him. Most know nothing about him and follow the media.

The media needs to be taken to task for not including his candidacy on all fronts irrespective of current percentages. The fat lady hasn't yet sung, and they should be deeply ashamed at their anything but "fair and balanced reporting".

The only way we can get Ron Paul elected, is if he runs the gauntlet as a republican contendor, which he is doing, and changing to independent candidate at the convention. I suspect that is the plan all along, and if it isn't, it should be!

If I understand things correctly, this is the only way every single voting booth is going to have a lever with his name on it, or a check box on a touch screen with his name on it. A write-in candidate has no chance in hell, it's tough enough for people to keep voting boxes working let alone dealing with the oddballs wanting to "write in" a candidate. Too much for people to be expected to handle. And trying to deal with the republican delegates now that McCain has a severe majority is a no win proposition as well.

Regarding the democrats, I hear concerns about Obama instituting an all black cabinet, for example, as "payback to the white man" and other strange concerns, like Hillary being the lesser probability of taking away our guns (and we have a large number). No wonder Hillary got the majority, as the lesser of 2 perceived evils.

What is sad is that if he had got 16% in a populated state like PA a few months ago, Ron Paul would be considered a worthy opponent.

It's sad that he only gets 16% now when its too late.

The silver lining may be that maybe McCain will figure out he needs to have a libertarian republican on the ticket.

Confirmed fraud has occurred in several primaries already and we have PROOF. Everyone needs to do the research and find out!

If he got 128,188 votes in Pennsylvania alone, I would say that the Ron Paul Revolution has more than the 800,000 followers conservatively claimed by the mainstream Press.
