The 8th richest Senator has 9 houses worth over $13 million. He says economic problems are "psychological," and that Americans should deal with recession by "working a second job."
I am a registered Republican, but I know who I *won't* be voting for in November.

McCain's Not the Only One
Hillary and Obama are no different. All three of the "frontrunners" are equally out of touch with the reality of daily life for most Americans. We must rise up and stop this nonsense.
Stop voting for people who don't and won't represent us.
You're right....he's not one of us. That in and of itself doesn't make him unworthy of your vote. His judgment and actions are what makes him unworthy of your vote.
We should not live as victims.
A victim might whine and say, "Look at all he has and I have..." "If it weren't for taxes I could have..." "He has 8 houses and I have..."
His remark of a second job is self-rightous, inconsiderate, elitist, smug, and add a few more.
It is America and we all have the opportunity to achieve. We CANNOT sit back and think or believe this is not possible for everyone. The way he "got his" is our business only if he stole or broke laws. Then, that would be the issue. His morals are his business.
What is our business is his thoughts for the future of this country and the Constitution and freedom - we want to choose our leaders based on those facts - not that he has 8 houses and is smug.
We've been trained, taught, and educated to be followers and not to think on our own.
When you believe it is possible for you - IT IS POSSIBLE FOR YOU! And, money does not define success alone, ie Mother Theressa!
So I say here, again - Turn your brains back on, produce more value than you consume, remember God, and choose Love.

What is this, Daily Kos? McCain is unsupportable because his politics are atrocious, not because he's rich. Under a libertarian society, the McCains would likely own even more homes. So what? This post surprises me; it has the odor of class envy and wealth redistribution to it. Those are pinko leftist ideas, not libertarian ones.

Nah but McCain acts as if he is one of us....He lies and cheats his way to the top. Ron Paul is probably well off in his financial situations, but no one cares because he doesn't use that to his advantage. He makes an effort to connect with all of us and follow the Constitution. This is the epitome of the libertarian and constitutionalist ideal for a leader.
McCain is in bed with all the corporations and ruling class of people(Globalist elites and NWO types), and he uses it for political gain. This is what's sickening.
"Work two jobs, and skip the vacation" and the economic problems are "psychological" is easy for him to say. He doesn't have to see what we see...that and he doesn't care...
Oh and finally, in a truly Libertarian society, the McCain's would be living in a van down by the river. If Johnny boy practiced the same type of "conservatism" he does in the U.S. Senate, he wouldn't own sh*t in the real world. The fortune he has now is just a product of his family name and his marriage.
Be Specific
So if he lies cheats and steals to get his way to the top do you have any resources to substantiate this? How is he a globalist elite or NWO type? Links to a website that doesn't have blinking tags and lots of caps would be a plus. I'm not saying he does or does not, but when I make allegations like that I back them up with links to reputable sites.
I agree with you on the psychological aspect. That is troubling to me when the nominee for President doesn't know much about economics. Let's not forget though that the best leaders delegate, and an effective President is an effective leader who knows how to pick their inner circle well.

I knew his wife inherited "stuff" (alcohol distribution company) and now this does a bit of clarifying as to the reason he pushed soooo hard for the "most ignorant of legislation - Amnesty For Illegals"!
Its said and no I won't be able to list the page that I seen it on, sorry, his wife's company would have profited from Illegals cause she distributes alcohol that their, the illegals, are rather fond of.
