Does each "refresh" I hit increment the hit counter?
If so, I probably refresh every 10 minutes all day or evening long to keep the Active Forum Topics list current (before threads "disappear over the edge").
Also, I've noted that DailyPaul does not even log me off, if I shut down the computer. That means that "logged in users" may have nothing to do with whether a person is even near a computer or out shopping.
I assume that also means that if I leave a DailyPaul session up overnight that the "guest" online count continues to include me, as well.
The failure to have a software-logout based on time unused (as RPF has) means that *anyone* can come along on the computer and post under that person's "name".
Also, when the Contact page is working, be aware that if you contact someone, they get an *e-mail* from the e-mail address you used for DP registration. Is that how/why there were many fake password reset requests during the "attack" a couple of weeks ago.
Given the extreeeeeme slooooowness of DP, I expect that access counter to drop for that reason alone.
Statistics aren't reliable
