I wanted to see if there is enthusiasm for this idea:
Raise enough money to send 1 copy of the new book to each of the 435 members of the house of representatives and 1 copy for each of the 100 members of the senate.
We would send them by way of certified mail to confirm delivery.
I think that most would be intrigued enough to at least crack it open and then...
Share your thoughts. I think this could have a huge effect. Maybe a very important next step in the Revolution. Ron Paul must at least stir great curiosity in his colleagues and some may even, deep down, have a sense of marvel and wonder for him. Let us make it very simple and easy to reveal the truth to our elected representatives about this great man and why he is so revered.
If nothing else it may create quite a stir. And damn it, it is "time to stir."
Surely we can make this happen.
UPDATED: It is said that Paul has roughly 5 million dollars on hand. Why not massively suggest to the campaign to spend the less then 20,000 dollars it would take to accomplish this. We ask them to do it as an Independence Day present.

Why would they bother to even pick it up. They already have opinions of the Doc and his policies. Would the Doc read a book by Hillary if he got it in the mail - I doubt it.
It's an interesting idea though. Perhaps a book on CD would be more likely to be heard.
I think it would be better
I think it would be better spent on the delegates. We ought to send copies of the book to all of the delegates going to the RNC. This is what the country needs: education. Best to start with the delegates, for they decide the party platform. I honestly think the congresscritters are a waste of time. If they have not realized by now that they have to obey the Constitution, they are pretty darn worthless imho. If we could get copies to the delegates AND congresscritters, well great. But if it is only feasible to send the copies to one of the two groups, I think it would be in our best interest to go with the delegates.

Good idea but
we must also send it to every delegate that will be able to cast a vote Dr. Paul's way at the RNC. This is where the campaign should spend some of those bucks, direct influence and education to the existing delegates that can flip this race our way. Hopefully we will be walking into the convention with a strong Ron Paul Delegate basre, so that we will only need a segment to flip our way.
-Also send the Manifesto to every journalist in the country. We need to get the ear and voice of Beck, Rush, Stern and others who are able to reach millions in the short term. Please do not discount their strenght, just because they are not 100% Ron Paul supporters, they agrree and verbalize 80 to 90% of what our movement is about. They just not have attached Ron Paul to their beliefs.
