If Cindy Sheehan
is a Ron Paul person and openly endorses him now, she wouldn't have a chance in heaven to get Pelosi's seat. Even for Congress it is politics as usual.

Cindy Sheehan would still be a better speaker of the house than Nancy Pelosi. Let's get this war ended and our civil liberties back so we can concentrate on other issues!

Someone mentioned that we ought to give her time to learn. Although I do believe in constantly being open to more knowledge, in my opinion, being a Senator is not a time to learn but is rather a time to act.
I would like to know: does she or does she not consider The Constitution to be the supreme law of the land?
Sheehan was a Democrat until she left the party around a year ago. Where does she stand on all the liberal/entitlement issues? She is against the war, but we know that there are more ways to bankrupt America than simply spending money on wars.
Sheehan does appear to like Ron Paul and commend him for his stance against the war, but she does not endorse him.
She has written that she considers herself to be a "raging progressive" - which probably does not fit well with most of what our revolution is about.
From what I've read, her reason for running is simply because Pelosi did not bring up the possibility of impeachment for Bush.
I think what it really comes down to is whether Sheehan deserves the support of our revolution. I'm inclined to say that she does not. We ought to spend our time and resources focusing on candidates that are a part of this revolution and who endorse Ron Paul as well.
If we are to support her I believe it might be more of a decision as to who is the lesser evil. Do we really want to get mixed up in that when we could be putting more effort towards candidates such as Sabrin?

Palosi has sat on her hands since she was elected. Cindy would be straight forward and she would get right in their faces. we need more "politicians" who aren't just masters of manipulation as much as they just get things done!

i think sheehan winning over pelosi will help other "peace" candidates to run for office...but then again the establishment will not want sheehan around DC so they will aid pelosi....

She's actually from the town I currently live in. And she has the face of an anti-war protestor who is willing to drive to Crawford Texas to confront Bush.
She's actually running as Decline-To-State... which is of neither party.
I think she has the ability to pull this one off.

Just give her time. ron Paul is slowly affecting people. one of my friends is a liberal Ron Paul Democrat but hes coming around to be a conservative himself. There used to be Conservative democrats you know and they were the majority untill the neoliberal communists ran over their party.

Sorry folks, it doesn't work that way. Even if Ms Sheehan were to unseat the heavily entrenched Speaker Pelosi, AND the Democrat Party keeps the majority in the House, the ruling caucus would hardly install a first term back bencher as their Speaker.
Now, a President Paul, or even a Speaker Paul...

Nancy did get some reforms through. She did get gourmet foods for the House. It was a dream and a goal but did she ever get that bigger jet she was going for her first few weeks in ofc ??
