Who is behind Quackwatch?
Some of you of who follow Dr. Paul are also into the alternative-medicine way of preventing/treating disease/ailments.
If so, you are also familiar with the evil group called "Quackwatch"..
Here is a great audio interview:

A great ant-vaccination site
I highly reccomend the following site for those who want to research the history of vaccinations from an enirely different perspectiive than what we've been fed by our handlers:

Who has been lied to regarding exemption forms at public school?
I bet most of you haven't been informed at your local public school that your child can be exempted from receiving vaccines.
Here's a valuable page on legal exemptions so you can opt your kids out from being assaulted internally by the pharm-thugs who are in collusion with the government schools.

I stopped paying attention
to this guy about two years ago. I was researching digestive enzymes and went to his site. I don't know if it is still there, but he made a claim that enzymes cannot survive over 120 degress F. There is nothing further from the truth. I started my own brewing company and I can tell you for a fact that amylase (there are several different types) enzymes (that help with carbohydrates) can and prefer higher temperatures like 165 dF. Scientitists have actually developed enzymes that survive temps. over 212 dF. So, I take anything he says with a grain of salt.
haha
thats funny, PCR (polymerase chain reaction) uses and enzyme found in bacteria living in Yellowstone Boiling Springs-Taq Polymerase. This enzyme can function at 70dC (~156dF). They use PCR to get your DNA from a sample all the time.
So glad to know who the quacks are. I emailed him the posters comment and steve barrett said he is suing those people.
Interesting
As a nutritionist I studied enzymes. From what I studied I learned that enzymes cannot survive much past 120 degrees. At the temperature the proteins begin to denature. So, I am very interested in what you are saying here. Because of this fact we have always advocated a more raw food than cooked food diet and supplementing with digestive enzymes when eating a lot of cooked food.

I turned my brewing experience
into nutrition (I have been diagnosed with celiac disease). I am a nutritionist as well and have read every book on the subject of enzymes and the latest journals. As you know, there were two main issues with digestive enzymes, can they survive the stomach acid and can they be absorbed into the bloodstream (systemic enzymes)? A company, Swedish I think (I just moved so all my stuff is still in boxes) has proved that enzymes can survive stomach acid. I think the studies in Europe show that they can be absorbed into the bloodstream.
In brewing, we deal with mainly alpha-amylase and beta-amylase. Depending on the malt being used, a brewing might mash-in (that is when the milled grain and water are mixed in order to allow the enzymes to convert the starches to sugars, which is what ferments) from 120 dF to about 170 dF. Very few go above 165 dF. Since we were developing a gluten free beer we really needed to understand how enzymes really worked. I do not know about temperture issues with the other enzymes (protease, lipase, cellulase, lactase, etc.)
I am a raw food fan myself, but I only go about 85-90% raw and suggest the same to my clients. If clients want to go 100%, I am all for it. But I believe that 100% grass fed beef and free range organic poultry complement the raw diet really well. I love raw milk and cheese as well. Feel free to pick my brain.
My husband is celiac, also
I have worked with clients with Celiac and my husband is one. It has been a challenge. One of my clients said they had found a gluten-free beer. Do you market your beer? Can you make a nonalcoholic (like O'Doul's) gluten-free beer?
Where are you located? Are you familiar with Howell's work? That is what I studied originally but of course biochemistry textbooks talk about this a lot.

Not only is a good idea NOT to vaccinate.......
........but also to refrain from getting your kids a Social Security number.
Yes, I know you can't write them off on your taxes if you don't get them a SS #, but your kids are priceless.
The SS# will be the main method used - mark my words - to track those who haven't been vaccinated.
It will also be used to make sure everyone is vaccinated with their death-serums for whichever "pandemic" they let loose.
By the way, the hospital about 'number-two'd' themselves when we abstained from not only the vaccines, but ALSO the SS #.
They thought we were like Michael Jackson hanging 'Blanket' from the balcony.

My three children were never vaccinated; two are now in college.
Who has done research and now......
.....refuse to vaccinate their kids?
I did a fair amount of research
3 years ago and THANKFULLY did not and will not vaccinate my kids.
Why would anyone put their kids in a position of being guinea pigs for the pharm industry whose only duty is to satisfy their shareholders?

One of their biggest targets is.......
.....Dr. Rebecca Carley.
She used to be a trauma surgeon in Brooklyn until she found out the truth about vaccines/allopathic medicine.
She started a cable-access show on Long island, and THEN the big guns came after her in full-force.
She is an INCREDIBLE patriot, as she also discusses many of the issues we discuss here on the dailypaul on her radio shows.
Here's her website to find out more about her writings on vaccines and her talk-show info:
http://www.drcarley.com/
Of great importance, I highly suggest this audio interview of her:

Thanks for posting this. I became aware and interested in Dr. Paul primarily because of his support of health freedom & holistic health. It's good to see others care about those issues here.
Dr. Stephen Barrett of Quackwatch Exposed In Court Cases
"Dr. Stephen Barrett of Quackwatch Exposed In Court Cases":
http://www.canlyme.com/qu...
quote:
... At trial, under a heated cross-examination by Negrete, Barrett conceded that he was not a Medical Board Certified psychiatrist because he had failed the certification exam.
This was a major revelation since Barrett had provided supposed expert testimony as a psychiatrist and had testified in numerous court cases.
Barrett also had said that he was a legal expert even though he had no formal legal training.
The most damming testimony before the jury, under the intense cross-examination by Negrete, was that Barrett had filed similar defamation lawsuits against almost 40 people across the country within the past few years and had not won one single one at trial.
During the course of his examination, Barrett also had to concede his ties to the AMA, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Food & Drug Administration (FDA). ...

My students refer to him because so many of the Nutrition books call this a legitimate source for research. God help us if this is legitimate.

Steven Barrett is a quack himself
This guy is an M.D. so he thinks he is an authority on anything that has to do with health. WRONG! He is a pompous slandering fool. I know someone personally that he slandered and lied about and he had to retract everything he said about her when she sued him.
I tell all my students, if it comes up, to beware of this guy. He is totally in bed with the pharmaceutical industry.

he never got his M.D.
The article goes on to state he didn't pass his psychiatric exam. So, that "Dr." moniker does not apply. He is a non-doctor.
I did a search at
I did a search at Quackwatch, and Ron Paul is considered a "quack" for wanting to exclude food and dietary supplements from being included in a bill which would regulate: "articles intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in man."

This one is the next one
This one is the next one down and worth a glance. Myself, I don't GMO and I'm at about 70% organic dietary intake, and my best friends girlfriend is an ND that has helped me steer the course of my own health choices.
The Genetically Engineered Food Right to Know Act (H.R. 3377), introduced by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), would require labels on food that contains or is produced with genetically engineered material, which it defines as material derived from any part of a genetically engineered organism, without regard to whether the altered molecular or cellular characteristics of the organism are detectable in the material. The Institute of Food Technologists have concluded that genetic modification is safe, will increase world food production, and can improve plant characteristics that will benefit farmers, consumers, and the environment. The FDA has stated that special labeling would be inappropriate unless a technique significantly changes the composition of a food. Proponents of labeling claim that legislation is needed to enable consumers to exercise their "right to choose." Many critics of biotechnology see labeling as an indirect way to undermine public trust in biotechnology.
