RON PAUL! THE OK DELEGATION HANGS IN THE BALANCE; SEND US A GENERAL TO RALLY MORE SUPPORT!

News from the front lines in the Oklahoma delegate fight,

The establishment republicans in Oklahoma are so scared of the Ron Paul Republicans that they have brought in their second biggest neo-con gun…Vice President Cheney to help them get out the votes to the May 2-3 State GOP Convention. The establishment has figured out that this presidential nomination is going to come down to the delegates and they are sending out their second biggest star to fight for the 46 delegates (23 Dels 23 alts) that will be awarded at the OK GOP convention. So my message then to the Official RP Campaign is this: HELP US NOW! Send us a General that can rally even more of our troops! Your grass roots officers are doing all that they can but we do not have that kind of star power within our own ranks. If you can’t send us the man himself, send us Judge Napolitano or Congressman Barr, or Rand Paul, or Peter Schiff or Reverend John Killian…but send us someone that will show those on the bubble that you are as serious as the neo-cons are about winning Oklahoma.

PS BOOMER SOONER!

Bump

Here in Massachusetts we needed just 10 more people to grab every delegate position. Don't let them down, everyone counts at caucus!!!!!!

Try mailing a letter Priority Mail and phoning.

When the campaign was in full swing and RP was much busier than he is now, I actually got a reply from a suggestion I snail mailed in.

Show them Cheney's Credibility!

If they want to bring in Dick Cheney...well then just show them Dick Cheney. Destroy his credibility with his contradicting ideas about the war with an interview from 1994. That will at least make people question his lack of consistency.

Will do

But it would still help put us over the top if we could get some star power.

CAN YOU GET A SPEAKING SLOT...

FOR SAY RAND PAUL? IF SO THAT COULD POSSIBLY DONE..BUT THERE MUST BE A SPOT FOR HIM TO SPEAK!!!

LMFAO

good one

Your Welcome

Naturally:)

I thought the

I thought the party/convention had to be the ones to invite him to speak.

Somehow we need to get him there.... look at what happened in Reno! They say at least 10% more joined in support of Ron Paul after they heard him speak.

Indeed

Invited or not, if a presidential candidate shows up they have to let him/her speak. The convention would erupt in utter pandemonium if they did not. And if the campaign can only send a surrogate then he/she can speak at a dinner the night before or the venues fronts steps or in the lobby…the point is that the local Ron Paul voters will have one more huge reason to attend the convention and that is to meet and or hear from the celebrity. It’s the numbers we need and celebrities help bring the numbers once the grass roots has got all the true believers it can muster. Plus, surrogates can spread Paul’s message directly to those that might be on the fence…like the party conservatives that have been getting dumped on by the neo-cons for the last 20 some years.

Cheney? R U Serious?? I have to laugh at the thought that someone thinks mr SO? will help rally up support for their cause....

I laughed scornfully as well, but...

if there's one thing we've witnessed, it's the incredible amount of denial and complacency within the Republican establishment that allows the neo-cons to manipulate and marionette whoever they deem easy to control. They'll continue to cleverly (and increasingly, blatantly) distort messages of party unity, working toward global peace, playing up the need to evolve our Constitution with the tough times we face ahead, and to stay the course in Iraq to bring about a world safer for Democracy and anathema to the aims of radical jihadists who hate us for our religious and personal freedom (my brain feels dirty after typing all that). They'll do this to give the illusion that they "stick to their principles" on issues that "many" find "complicated." That way, they have the illusion of credibility to those still in limbo between understanding their leaders are PROBABLY systematically bending them over a barrel to be used in a nefarious fashion but have completely resigned themselves to their fate out of moral and intellectual laziness, and the reluctance to admit that they, and their entire way of thinking thus far, has been completely wrong.

That, and some people are just fuckin' stupid.

As dumbfoundingly amazing as it is, people seem to trust the enemy they've known and been dictated to for years instead of the hazy gray possibilities of entering free waters and finding the truth through individual responsibility and multiple possibilities. Sort of like those prison inmates afraid to enter free society again, or the weird bond that sometimes forms between captor and captive.

Either way, big changes are stirring, and Cheney himself can't do a damn thing about it. He'll try though, and will be met with equal (and much greater) opposite force. Gotta love those political physics :)

For liberty!! *gong*

Good Luck in OK

Ron Paul's new book would be great gifts to the OK Delegation.

If you can't have him there then you can spread his words.

We are in Nevada and had him speak out our convention and the Ron Paul supporters showed the NV GOP that he is our candidate.
