Really Dumb Question

Here is a stupid question:

Ok, if the chairman only recessed, is there not the smallest possibility to get a quorum down to the Peppermill(assuming that it was physically possible to do so) and vote in a new chairman and delegates?

This isn't a dumb question

This isn't a dumb question at all. As a matter of fact, it's thought provoking. Are there enough committee members within the ranks of the meetups to constitute a quorum?
P.S. I always taught my kids that the only dumb questions are the ones that aren't asked....and I hold to that. :)

Not sure, but

Mike Webber tried to lead such an effort yesterday after they had "recessed" and we didn't have the necessary numbers to meet a quorum. So many people felt they had to leave....Ron Paul supporters mostly stayed, but some felt intimidated and may not have been aware of who the people on the floor were who actually represented our candidate, so when told to leave they did. Word to the wise, make sure you know your leaders and watch for their lead/cues. We tried, really, so hard. I would gladly have stayed all night if necessary and so would most of the Ron Paul supporters. What a wonderful group of people.

T'S DOABLE

I had expected to stay late into the night and find it

I had expected to stay late into the night and find it completely unbelievable that they had not made contingency arrangements with the Peppermill for that possibility. Heck, the Washoe county rules from our convention last month specifically said that the state convention might take two days. What county are you in - did they say anything like that?
