Should HQ hire attorneys for the Delegate Conventions?

Considering the underhanded tactics that can be expected at every level, I wondering if HQ should hire attorneys for Delegate Conventions?

yes

The media coverage or them ignoring us would help the cause.

Jesse Benton, Lew Moore and Kent Snyder should resign

and leave us the hell alone. They are incompetent. Anyone saw this coming a mile away. But no. They wont. Theyll stay and eat away the salaries and do nothing. Getting paid to do nothing at all. What a great job. They always drop the ball. Good God

Congressman Ron Paul

Food for thought...

Lew Moore was one of the people who talked Ron Paul into running for president. Dr. Paul wasn't really keen on the idea you know - he had to be persuaded.

I agree on Jesse Benton

And yes, they definitely should hire civil law attorneys.

Considering they had $33 million to work with,

I'm having a hard time thinking of something positive they have accomplished.

$33 million divided by 15 delegates is what - Pretty expensive!

Or they could probably hire some interns just out of college

and put them on retainer to go around to the various key meetings.

A Legal / Paralegal Team...

of attorneys and paralegals could put together forms and documents to file with the proper authorities. We may have some of these "officers of the court" in our campaign, but they should be compensated in some manner. Anyone who knows an attorney or paralegal who's sympathetic to the RP campaign should contact him or her immediately. One team could provide the required documents for all 50 states.

I agree

HQ's needs to start spending more of its resources on these local events and quit relying solely on volounteers!

Better yet..

Aren't there quite a few attorneys who are already RP supporters? How about if the local MeetUps figure out who can show up for each caucus or convention and designate someone to raise the necessary procedural matters?

There used to be a campaign

There used to be a campaign attorney. I wrote him once and never even got the courtesy of a reply whatsoever. Lawyers seem to be all about money and not about right. I have never met one I could trust, either. It is a shame.

Volunteers are well and good if you can find them

However, I think HQ would do well to start funding these grassroots efforts including organizing efforts as well as hiring attorneys.

It depends

if they are for fairness or shills for the elite.

Yes !

I had the same thoughts. Especially with the march in July coming up I'm thinking attorneys on hand would be a very smart move.
