Were you a holdout and now you are for Ron Paul
Will you tell us what finally convinced you so that we will know what we are actually doing right.
Did you hear from one of us and you hated listening, but then you started hearing it elsewhere and came around?
Was it a stranger who woke you up. Was it a relative you trusted?
Was it Dr. Paul himself, or something on radio or MSM?
Was it an article? Did you hold out and then convert, or did you come into the group as soon as you finally heard about it?

Last Aug/Sept. (2007)
I kept seeing homemade banners that said Ron Paul R3VOLution, which made me start singing the Beatles in my head. I just thought some lowly politician didn't have the campaign funds to make real, professional campaign signs to put up. Figured it was a local politician.
I then saw a headline on Rense that said "Best Vid EVER!" I clicked to watch & it was "A New Hope" courtesy of YouTube for Ron Paul. I watched that video & have been never been the same since.
***Go back & watch it again...it is deeply moving.***

RP White House or Bust!
I practically
have it memorized. The part I like best is the black girl speaking up. I wonder if she is still with us???
I bailed after Nixon
Nixon's re-election and the ongoing Viet Nam mess made me give up on the American political system....I truly couldn't see any happy developments coming from any of the jokers in political office in Washington. I acted out of disgust!
But then, last year Dr. Paul cured my apathy! All it took was some debate appearances and a look back at his steadfast career through YouTube videos....
Another one
who saw him speak. We need that infomercial.
PBS
I saw him on a PBS debate and after it was over I asked my husband, "Why does he support abolishing a minimum wage?" and he was like, "I don't know. It's some libertarian thing." So then I looked it up on the internet and found out that a minimum wage raises the unemployment rate, etc., and I started to look into his ideas and challenge my own. But most people aren't iconoclasts.
The facts of 9/11 awoke me
and should have awoken you.
Explosion jets moving up and down the towers. These are caught on all three towers and are only present when buildings are being demolished with explosives. Ask yourself why you never seen these in the MSM.
It's because they were never shown.....

Quick analysis so far
Looks as if most so far might have heard him mentioned, but then when they "saw him talk" that was the deciding factor. So that is leading me to believe an "infomercial" could be superior. Has anyone looked into an infomercial??? I haven't heard that this has been researched. Also, those dvds would be great, but they reach so few at a time. Maybe we should start taking them to small businesses and asking them to play them for their employees. Or allowing their employees to take a break and watch it. Wonder if that would work? I like the infomercial idea best.
I'd like to see many more testimonials. Mentioning him to people seems to maybe be enough and then when they "see" him, they are in. That is interesting, because I always think I have to tell them the "golden" word-whatever might interest them most. But it seems just saying his name and saying something like Ron Paul is the answer to these problems, might be all we need to do.
Here is how it happened...
Razorwind Studios is an official endorser of Ron Paul, and we will live free or die! 14th alternate to MN state!
---------------------------------------------------
I was in total apathy about this election. My dad mentioned this guy who ran as a Libertarian, but I didn't really pay attention. Then, about 2 weeks before super tuesday, some people came by my door and asked what we knew about Ron Paul, and invited us to go to the rally at Northrup.
I literally cried out of joy when I heard him speak. I finally felt home. Ever since then, I have become a Ron Paul adict. I am an alternate to MN CD4(over, 1/3D + 2/3A)/State
Great Topic.
It is only late April. It only took a week to hear Ron Paul speak and then to research more info on him for me to became a supporter. Politics can change overnight it seems to me. Ron Paul has the message that America is waiting for. America just needs to hear it.
I came along around...
September of last year.
I'm 41 years old and I never voted until 2000. I didn't see the sense in it, when I could tell the candidates were all lying, pandering buffoons. My wife shamed me into voting in 2000 and 2004. I voted for Bush both times (yuck), thinking I was voting for a small government conservative. Boy was I wrong.
I got hooked immediately after hearing Dr. Paul speak for the first time. I could just tell he was telling me the TRUTH. That he wasn't afraid to speak his mind reguarless of the political reprecussions. I thought to myself, "Now here is a guy worth voting for."
I got addicted and I still spend most of my free time thinking and reading about Dr. Paul and his message of freedom. My wife actually voted for McInsane in the AL primary. I voted for Dr. Paul, of course. She didn't tell me til afterward who she voted for... I wasn't mad... she didn't have a clue. I've since turned her around. We will both write in Dr. Paul in the general election.
Since then I've turned my whole family into a bunch of anti-statists. My 14 year old son got taken to the principal's office by his teacher for having a swastika drawn on one of his notebooks. He was writing an essay entitiled "Politics and Power". On his own... not an assignment. The cover had a swastika, a hammer and sickle, the American flag, etc. Luckily for us, they principal was a lot more open-minded than the teacher and sent him back to class without a reprimand once she learned what the deal was. I always thought she was a fair lady, and now I have a new-found respect for her.
I've always been a libertarian at heart, just never found a candidate who actually voted that way... every time.
This is a Fantastic topic
I will bump it. Just like the "Ron Paul Supporters, Who are you guys?"

My brother mentioned his
My brother mentioned his name several times and some time in november I decided to look Him up. I was hooked the minute I heard Him speak which seemed to touch my heart. I also learned alot from You people in what the hell is going on and have decided to prepare for the future. I thank You people for all the posts and I will tell You that my family will not starve in the future because of You............
You aren't the only one
For many people, it's much too soon to be thinking about September, so even if people tell them they'll like the candidate, most don't care, yet.
I'm still getting a few comments every day that I wear my Ron Paul gear. More people seem to know about him and support him, but they're not all on the DailyPaul, so they don't know how well it's going.
