Texas: A Whole Different Genocidal Country

Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide

Adopted by Resolution 260 (III) A of the United Nations General Assembly on 9 December 1948.

Article 1
The Contracting Parties confirm that genocide, whether committed in time of peace or in time of war, is a crime under international law which they undertake to prevent and to punish.

Article 2
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

Article 3
The following acts shall be punishable:

(a) Genocide;
(b) Conspiracy to commit genocide;
(c) Direct and public incitement to commit genocide;
(d) Attempt to commit genocide;
(e) Complicity in genocide.

Article 4
Persons committing genocide or any of the other acts enumerated in Article 3 shall be punished, whether they are constitutionally responsible rulers, public officials or private individuals.

So the question is, how do we enforce this treaty, to which the U.S. is obliged????

There is absolutely no doubt that the State of Texas, Rosita Swinton, Flora Jessop, and others are party to a violation of Article 2 sections b, c, d, and e, with respect to their behaviors toward the FLDS church group. Article 4 states that persons involved shall be punished whether they are rulers or private persons.

How do we go about seeking redress for these grievances????

Perhaps putting this in front

of some of their attorneys. They are probably working hard to resolve the immediate damage to these families and children and may not have dug that deep YET.

What?

What is this all about? Article 2 (e) seems to apply to the folks at the FLDS church that Texas invaded and stole their children. Is that what you are talking about? Or is this about Iraq?

My post said:

Yes, it definitely applies to Iraq! No doubt about it. I was raising the issue as it applies to the behaviors taken toward the FLDS people, as I noted in my post.

Why no TX law arrests or

Why no TX law arrests or charges on Swinton, press said Swinton used the same telephone number to hoax TX as she did on another hoax in Feb!!!!!!

start with the attorney

general of Texas

Seeing as how the AG is party to the genocide

I am not sure how he would be effective in redressing this grievance. He was interviewed on NBC the other night and had the gall to make the allegations of widespread abuse, and then say "and we'll see if this is true."

He also said, "if the allegations are untrue, then the children will be returned to their parents; THIS HAPPENS EVERYDAY."

The AG of Texas is complicit in the offenses against these people.

Hmm

Check out the Texas state statutes and/or judicial website to see how one brings an issue to the Grand Jury. Here in Arizona everyone has legal access to the Grand Jury. Once a member of the Grand Jury is willing to look into this, something might happen. Otherwise, they are going to laywer-up.

How do we go about seeking redress for these grievances????

Any ideas, any one???
