This is what a GOP slave wrote to our Ron Paul leader her in Georgia.
"I have been perusing the Ron Paul meet up groups subversive tactics under many Id's. You may freely post anything you like as I have many Id's and many email accounts and have the ability to generate many more. I also have many friends within the republican party who have also been watching your subversive tactics since early December. Meetup.com may be considered private, if you think so, but I have been given free access to many things by just logging in. If it's on the Internet it's very public and not as private as you would suggest."
....then he went on to say....
"What I would suggest is that the Ron Paul subservients leave the Republican Party immediately. Your name as well as many others has been published within the party. Your group and tactics are well known and why you had such a poor showing at the Georgia 4th district convention. You will do as poorly within the Georgia GOP convention.
You need to get a refresh of your "fairy dust" from the Ron Paul website as you're not get your wishes fulfilled in Georgia."
SOOO.....for those of you who are willing, and are NOT from Georgia, please email this guy and let him know what a douchbag he is. I know that some of you reading this will not want to do it because it might "give Ron Paul a bad name". Well, he already has a bad name with this guy. So again, if you have some balls, and would like to show this SOB that Ron Paul has a posse, go to the link below and cuss his ass out.

As a Southerner myself, I am ashamed that such comments would be leveled aginst Ron Paul and his supporters; a following of which I count myself. So, I wrote the guy, and reminded him that he could thank us later for saving his personal sovereignty, although he was delusional and misguided at the moment. I also reminded him that threats are the last resort of the desperate and that for his comments and proposed actions we understood his fear, and confusion, as it was a product of a misinformed and weak mind. I often come across folks of such caliber and wonder at the smallness of their gumption and understanding of their precarious position on the edge of Fascism. Well, the point is to save as many as possible, even if they don't quite understand the saving. Keep up the good work folks, we are creating change that is more than just a word. This is either a very poor attempt at intimidation

You wouldn't be receiving an intimidating email if he wasn't. I'm not sure what he's out to prove except to try and rattle some nerves. But, he should know as I'm sure he does that if we've had to put up with the whole corruption thing for this long, a little email like that would only make us more resolved to oust his ilk from positions of power, not less.

It seems to me it would be unproductive to reply to the "GOP slave " with hate mail. If you do reply, I've found that a well thought out intelligent letter will make his letter backfire. Trust me, I've been able to do this and it works. You soon will have thinking republicans back you up, whereas a letter of hate will support the GOP slave.
But in the end, your best revenge is the ability to have a large number of well mannered, articulate, and neatly dressed Ron Paul delegates at the Republican conventions. Overwhelm them with all your knowledge. Many of these regular republicans are clueless about the issues. Get your facts in order. It will be fantastic! I've seen it happen.
Start the reply out with...
"You letter made me smile, then laugh." Then don't tell them why. They get totally confused as if you know something they don't and you have effectively destroyed what little confidence they have left. Plus it is the exact opposite reaction from what they are hoping to get, which is a shrill, angry, ranting screestfest. It's unexpected, and it throws them off, and you have the advantage. You are confident and happy and not angry and rattled. They are rattled and confused instead of satisfied. You win.
Conclude the letter with a second sentence. "I look forward to meeting you at the convention. Cordially yours, etc. etc. etc."
Play syrupy-sweet nice with them and they won't know what to think.

I have always defended you and even started to promote Revolution Broadcasting, but now I see why so many people have a problem with you.

I might also add to Steve that although I am a Georgia resident, I am temporarily living abroad and not actively involved in the local political process, so have not put myself or the movement at risk...so I agree that unless you are living outside Georgia and don't have a reason to mask your ID, best not to email this guy...but my position still holds...do not cower, hide or let anyone run you underground!

Perhaps pbandj joined only now because he felt compelled to post for the first time? It really isn't our place to questions, but clearly the fact that he received this email from this bully means he is genuinely working for the revolution.
I myself came to this site every day for months before I joined, and only did so when I had a reason to post.
Anyhow, when you mail from within meetup.com you have the option to restrict your email address (as well as restricting it from your general profile) so this is not an issue.
I will never, ever let someone scare me into hiding and I certainly don't feel it is a waste of my time to let this guy know his tactics don't work. This is why I signed my name. If you feel this is foolish of a waste of time, so be it, I trust you are working on something else that matters to you.
If he wants to know who I am, then he should know that I know who HE is as well, don't you think? Get it all out in the open.
Although I realize we need to be realistic and careful, we need to stop acting like we are the outcasts...like we don't represent TRUE American and traditional Republican values and therefore need to go underground all the time.

Once you have, please do tell what you plan to do with my name...? It was a little unclear from your message that was relayed to me, and I don't like elusiveness.
Here is what I plan to do with your name: tell everyone I know whose name might be on your list (by way of being a Ron Paul supporter...? Is this your criteria for who ought to leave the Republican party?), so you can hear from them as well.
Please be prepared to provide an individual explanation to EACH OF US as to what you intend to do with our names and contact details, for the record.
Additionally, I will be sending your comments to meetup.com and asking them to clarify how members of groups that may oppose other groups are permitted to use the contact details of said groups...I am quite sure that using veiled threats, intimidation and name collecting for other (as yet unstated) purposes is not smiled upon.
I will also ask them what their policy is about fraudulent representation, since you intend to create pseudo names to accomplish your (as yet unstated) purposes. Pretending to be someone you are not for political or other purposes is not acceptable, from either camp.

I don't believe you are a fair representative of what the Republican party is about, and as a recent convert to the party (on account of Ron Paul) I am shocked.
But I will leave room for you in it (and not insist, as you have, that you leave immediately), because that is what a fair and democratic society rests on...allowing free speech so that everyone can make their point and the people can choose who they will follow.

I am not subversive about my support of Ron Paul and don't really know anyone who is. Nor am I subservient to a man named Dr. Paul. He epitomizes what I stand for because he is a DEFENDER OF THE CONSTITUTION. If his name was Joe Blow I'd be behind him.
I live and breath as a free American who believes in our constitution as something more than just a piece of paper. And because of this, I can stand proud.
I think you will find this to be true of most, if not all, Ron Paul supporters. We stand proud behind not just a man, but a peaceful revolution that will restore and renew our nation so that practices like yours will no longer be common place.

I am neither a kid nor a 'bot'. I have been a registered Republican for nearly 30 years, voted for Reagan. We are the 'real' Republicans. John McCain is a liberal.
We are working within the party rules, please have the courtesy to do the same.

Right on! The Republican Party WAS (is) my party, Always has been for almost 40 years. It is not a private club, and certainly should not in any way be associated with letters like this that go out to supporters of a Republican candidate who is duly on the ballot. This is horrible and I am POSITIVE that many other members in Ga. would deplore this letter and also be horrified. You need to make some calls to ALL of the committee members, and get on the agenda for the May meeting IMMEDIATELY. This letter must be read to the whole group, and a speech made. If the Republicans are all indeed SO shallow, manipulative, rude and intolerant, than I and many others may just move to the Constitution Party for future elections and build THAT party like we were trying to do with the Republic one. This would be the beginning of the end of the Republican Party in Georgia. I am appalled and horrified.
