This is a video proudly sent to me on March 21st by the LaRouche supporter I was communicating with. There are "some" ideas similar to Dr. Paul's, but members in their movement differ in the sanity of their presentation, as you can clearly see.

No, Larouche is a completely insane, foaming at the mouth, utterly psychotic basket case and nut job. I have heard his shrill, incoherent, maniacal rants for almost thirty years now, and while they can be quite entertaining, they are not to be considered as anything approaching serious political analysis or commentary. More like the random ravings of any average resident of the typical lunatic asylum. How he has been able to ever gather any kind of following completely eludes me.

As far as I know he is supporting Hillary in this election and a FDR-style programm to restore the American economy. Though he agrees with Ron Paul on the US being in a serious situation, his remedies are just the opposite: Big state and central planning. By the way, as JohnGault said, he is an egomaniac and he is highly intolerant with dissenting opinions. Again just the opposite of the kind and modest doctor. Nevertheless if you know there is a lot of poison in his medicine he has interesting informations and viewpoints. His maverick viewpoints made me interested in him (actually he has his second stronghold in Germany where his wife Helga promotes his ideas in the same egomaniac style).
Its good to know where he stands and asf ree people we shouldn't be afraid to talk about him anyway.

Put the video back up. Apparently it is not acceptable to be a Ron Paul supporter and not know (and hate) this guy LaRouche, so I better figure out who the heck he is. I've got lots of people on my black list and I don't want to miss one.

I once gave them a donation because they wanted to impeach Kenneth Starr and I appreciated anyone that would go after him b/c I was a Bill Clinton fan...way back...when I was a democrat.

I've had some phone conversations with one of his supporters over the years. We have a number of things in common, (anti-Bush, Cheney, Gore and his global warming scam) but I feel they are a very odd, fringe group that will never grow in numbers of any significance.

Besides that, LaRouche LOVES Bill Clinton and the supporter wanted me to vote Hillary, and couldn't comprehend my not supporting her...I just said I cannot vote for anyone but Dr. Paul and had to slam the phone down b/c he was so passionate about her getting elected.

but in all, larouche is an egomaniac. Rather then a coherent philosophy, he seems to just rant and rave about every conspiracy under the sun. Of course, when you do that, you're bound to hit on a few real ones. LaRouche hates Paul. Why, I really don't know. While there may be some common ground of ideology, the way the LaRouche movement is organized is very legitmately cultish. This movement is not about Ron Paul the man, it is about the ideology of liberty, It will continue after the presidential campiagn is over. LaRouche does not support congressional candidates, does not have a platform. All he does is run for president over and over, while sending his "LaRouche youth" (yes this is actually what he himself calls them) to hand out newsletters and ask for donations, to recruit new members, whose job is in turn, to ask for donations, recruit members, etc. He never actually does anything, like, say, run tv ads, or build a campiagn infrastructure, get out the vote. While he may at one point believed in what he was pushing, it seems like the orginization as it currently exists is just a scam to make LaRouche money.

And we know he is a nut. Now go away please - seeing as how you have only been a member for 1 week.

i gave his supprters $20 to impeach chaney. still waiting.
