White House Speech Writer Turns Violent After 9/11 Questions

Axis of Evil' author David Frum Responds to Questions With Physical Assault and Obscene Language
A member of We Are Change L.A. was assaulted and cursed at by former White House speech writer David Frum during a book signing, according to reports.
Frum-- a neo-con policy maker who is often credited with coining the phrase 'Axis of Evil'-- allegedly lost his temper when he recognized Stewart Howe, of We Are Change L.A., from a previous book signing. Howe approached Frum to ask a question when Frum became angry, and then violent, reports indicate.
Frum told Howe, "The one thing I regret from our last conversation is that I didn't say to you what my friend Christopher Hitchens said... which is, you should fuck off." [expletive is reportedly a direct quote]
According to Howe, David Frum then got up from behind the book signing table and swung at Stewart and his camera while he was phrasing a question about the unraveling 9/11 cover-up and potential criminal charges.
Frum could be the first of former Bush Administration officials to actually get violent with reporters, though a number of mainstream media outlets have called for violence against 9/11 truthers, and at least one Bush supporter physically attacked a truther last week.
David Frum was quoted as saying, "Turn off the camera. Go away!" as he smacked the camera during the book signing event.
Howe replied "I will not go away. I will not turn off the camera. We are in public. Are you worried, perhaps, about the criminal liability of being a partner to mass murder after the fact? You know that is a real concern because the truth is coming out."
Reportedly, David Frum swung repeatedly at the camera during this statement before members of event security separated him from Howe and sent him back to his seat. Moments later, Frum got up from his seat to assault Howe for a second time after over-hearing a discussion with the security guard regarding 'the neo-con agenda laid out in PNAC documents.'
David Frum allegedly tried to break the camera while Howe announced to the recording that "he's assaulting me, and I have it on film."
Frum then said, "I don't want to be on your camera." Stewart Howe responded, "We're in public. I've just been assaulted by David Frum on film."
Security escorted the We Are Change L.A. reporter from the event on grounds that he was obstructing the book signing, though the guard agreed that Howe had a right to free speech and that Frum had assaulted him.

9/11 and the Campaign
While 9/11 has had a questionable investigation and however noble the 9/11 truth movements intentions the reality is that they need to look at the big picture of Freedom on Liberty. By association the MSM has belittled and marginalized Dr. Paul. If in fact there was any foreknowledge or complicity by our government it is but one symptom of the system we are trying to fix by electing leaders such as Ron Paul and like minded individuals.
There must be several thousand forums in which to discuss these topics and promote the 911 Truth Movement. But this one happens to be about getting Ron Paul elected and related news.
Moderator you are 5th in Google. As people search for information on Dr. Paul is this what you want them to base their decisions from?
My opinion is...
The intent to find answers is respectable. The manner in which this intent was executed was childish. What was the first question the woman asked? We all want answers, those who feel strongly and passionately enough to pursue this inquiry in depth would be well advised to carry themselves with strength, determination and CLASS. Two out of three isn't bad, but 'Class' helps one come across as mature and sensible not childish and quarelsome.

Like Kucinch is a project to discredit the Truth movement. Notice how the only politician who openly embraces 9/11 Truth believes in UFOs. The law (at least in Texas) would have supported this claim of assault. Not sure what it is in L.A.? Probably a bitchslap or eyescratch or a fake boob twist would qualify, Don't know....

I have to say that using the term "assault" with respect to this exchange with David Frum is embellishment at best and complete bullshit at worst. People who have actually been physically assaulted would be offended by this very liberal use of the word. What did he do, squirt water from his bottle? If you can't take this for what it is: some blue-blazered, tassle-loafered pussy getting up and down from his chair; then you'd better stay away from the big events coming up this summer. OK, Frum pussy-pushed the camera a few times and told the reporter to fuck off (I thought he was going to hyperventilate). To me, Frum just looked like the neocon coward that he is. I applaud We Are Change for doing what they do, but the embellishment of the confrontation ruins the credibility of people that post this stuff. If an assault occurs among two or more men, somebody should end up on their ass wondering WTF just happened.

The guys a world class a**hole- but it dosnt make it assault- anymore than getting bumped by Britney in traffic should make ya a millionaire. We want to nail these guys with solid evidence. Frivolous lawsuits- when added up detract from the valid reasons they should be put away. Speaking from experience representing people who have been charged with both offenses: 1) assault is any action or words that make another person feel that a battery (unwanted touching, see below) is imminent. Such as - "Im going to shoot you" "Im going to drag you outside and kick your ass right now" etc...etc.... this is assault.
2) Battery is ANY uwanted touching. It doesnt have to cause pain, it doesnt have to be serious - it doesnt even have to be you physically touching someone as throwing an object at someone will suffice.
There are aggravated versions of both offenses - - battery is an unwanted punch to the face. Agg Battery is an unwanted baseball bat to the legs.
Etc...etc... Technically, this guy Frum committed battery by grabbing the camera in a violent manner because the camera was an extension of the guy holding it. If he made any threats before doing that - that is assault. Yes, its weak. But I had a girl charged with aggravated battery to a police officer for: Spitting on him. It happens. Its stupid, i agree. But technically its a battery and its a crime (as well as civil tort) in every jurisdiction in the united states i know of.
Assault and battery are two separate crimes - often related in time and place - but not necessarily so. You can commit one without the other and vice versa in any given situation.

According to the video, Frum hit the truther guy TWICE, yet the security guard was harassing the truther. Shouldn't the security guard have been warning Frum, instead?
Then, the old lady trying to block the truther's camera shot almost got popped by Frum, the very guy she was trying to defend.
