I say we round up all black children and put them in white foster homes.
I say we round up all the kids in single parent homes and put them in a foster home with a mother and a father.
I think we should all call the authorities and “tell on” those nasty Jehovah Witness cooks.

I expect such complacency from the right, but where is the outrage from the so-called progressive child advocates?

Of course, as it turns out
there were precisely zero pregnant or married underage girls in the Texas ranch and exactly zero filthy child predators living there. Funny how all the lies and slander in the media were never really corrected. And, more than three months after the tanks and snipers rolled in under cover of darkness to the ranch, and more than three months after all the children were rounded up in the middle of the night and brought in to be interrogated for hours on end, still there have been no criminal charges laid.

Where are the child advocates?
The "child" advocates are the one's causing the problem...they are the ones who think they know how to best raise your child.
Many advocates merely "proclaim" the rights of the children.... protected by the "state" of course.
No, the children don't actually have the "freedom" to choose where they go...that is preposterous - children can't make those kinds of decisions. The laws (pushed by many of the so called child advocates) are merely determining that they (the state) are more qualified to provide appropriately for the "poor children" than their own parents.
Times they are a changin.
Where are the PARENT advocates? Do we even have any? People need to wake up in this country and realize that the mindset and legal progression in this country protect less and less the rights of parents in raising their children. The children will all soon become "citizens of the state"...as they once were in Russia, China or even Nazi Germany...and the state will tell you how to raise your child - or take them and do your job for you. Are we becoming like cattle...where they can pull the babies from the herd if they so choose?

The thing is, even if you completely disagree with everything the FLDS stands for and does, they still are deserving of all the constitutional protections that are guaranteed in the Constitution. If they have no protections, then WE have no protections. It is as simple as that. If you live in Texas, then call your local government, Call the governors office until the phones crash, if you are a lawyer, volunteer your time, and sue the state. Raise all the hell that you can. I was talking to my mother about this the other day (she's86). At first she was all for stopping the evil polygimists, but after I explained the constitutional question here, her views were changed. We must wake the dozing citizens up here, and this travisty of "justice" cannot be allowed to stand. Has anyone even been charged with a crime here? I think it was Noam Chompsky that said"If you do not believe in free speech for things you despise, then you don't believe in it at all" The same principal applies here. If one of us is not free, then none of us is free. Isn't that we are all fighting for on this site??
ONE BOLD SYMBOLIC ACTION
Some of us would take a bullet if we could save these kids from the institutional child abuse they are coldly subjected to currently.
Many of us would stand alone before the rolling tanks. This would be no muddled statement. The message would be clear.
Can we brainstorm on an ACTION that will have the unspinnable clarity of the Teaparty or Gandhi's salt march to the sea ?

knowledge of what the real story on these people or this group is. We are getting all of our news/information about the situation from the very same MSM that lies and spins everything. Why would we believe what they're saying about this situation or these people?
I still say, this is a practice run. They want to see how to handle taking a large group of children. And, they are trying to condition us that this type of thing is morally necessary and righteous. The wonderful government protecting the children. Who will be next? What group will be the next target and what excuse will they give the public sheeple?
