(CNN) — Ron Paul’s loyal supporters helped him set campaign fundraising records and capture more delegates during his presidential run than some of his high-profile Republican rivals. They even managed to briefly shut down Nevada’s GOP convention earlier this month over a rules change controversy.
Now they’ve taken his latest book to the top of the Amazon.com bestseller list.
“The Revolution: A Manifesto”, released earlier this month, is currently No. 1 on the Web site’s list of top sellers, besting even Oprah’s latest Book Club selection.
“Despite a media blackout, this septuagenarian physician-turned-congressman sparked a movement that has attracted a legion of young, dedicated, enthusiastic supporters . . . a phenomenon that has amazed veteran political observers and made more than one political rival envious,” boasts the book’s product description, adding: “Candidates across America are already running as ‘Ron Paul Republicans.’”

The book itself is great!
My sweetie ordered a copy today. I spent a long time reading the excerpts on the Amazon online reader, and cussing when it wouldn't show me more.
This book is so delicious you'll want to lick your fingers after you read it!
The sarcasm is sharp and subtle, the facts amaze, the criticism penetrates. I mean, it really is a very significant text.
I feel like I have to emphasize this, because, lets face it, we're all die-hard Paul fans here to the point that we would revere a grocery list or a prescription this man had written on craft paper. What we have is the book we could only have wished for. A manifesto that gives libertarians who know all about the problems with government a fresh perspective, and which charges their fighting spirit. A scathing political commentary that will entertain everyone and get them talking. A short, concise, and singular voice that will win converts and change minds. It was worth the wait.

yuck... Oprah... a person with really bad taste, lots of money, and way too much influence...
It's scary when I see on her show really stupid stuff... for example, some kid that happens to be able to paint fairly realistically... and suddenly, because Oprah says so, that child's work becomes the definition of good art. When in fact it's not, because regardless of how realistic it is, doesn't make it good.
Oh well, good thing there's an aristocratic, snobby, secular art world that gets to define art... just so long as it's not Oprah.

David Blaine hasn't been the same since standing inside that big ice block for a few days several years ago. He was on the Howard Stern show maybe 6-12 months after doing that and he seemed completely out of it, as if something was not working correctly in his head (maybe he froze off a bunch of brain cells..). Every time I've seen him since he still does not seem like he was before the ice block event.
