That having been said, I also think we would be better off, in more ways in one, IF we would follow Ron Paul's advice and let Israel loose to fight her battles as she chooses. We placed restrictions on their fighting back in the first Iraq war w\Saddam Hussain, and we insist on their negotiating with the Palestinian Authority (in spite of Hamas control). But no,... they can't negotiate with Syria- Because BUSHIE says so! WHAT HYPOCRISY!!

and the sailors on the carrier group we have already in place for the Iraq invasion all report boredom of flying missions without any action, and no ornaments drop. Now we're moving yet another carrier group into the area, and Iran opens it's Oil Bourse, that seems to be functioning really smooth without our dollar. This is really getting the attention of other countries that have been wanting to stiff arm Uncle Sam anyway. But we've got problems bombing Iran. First, many Americans are now aware of the falsehoods involved in invading Iraq, so there will be intense focus on another invasion. Secondly, we're so stretched in Iraq, we've got nothing to spare, except a bunch of nuclear tip warheads, which will not win us any interntional friends. We're attempting to steal oil, simple as that. Using the US Military to do so, for the benefit of Bush/Cheney's handpicked (i.e. highest bidder) cronies. The American consumer was much better off with Saddam in control (and for that matter, I think Iraq was much better off too!)

To enslave us. I have no beef with Iran and respect what they are doing. When Japan dumps the US dollar are we going to invade them for making wise business decisions?

Iran Should have learned from Iraq - Thou Shalt Not forsake the Dollar. Any and all means will be used to keep Iran from throwing out the dollar. Millions (potentially billions) will probably die due to this "thumbing of the nose" at the U.S. This is the reason we are in Iraq and this is the reason hundreds of thousands have died for already. The dollar has survived 30+ years only because of the attachment to oil (which was developed from bribery and intimidation back in the 70's).
So long Good Dollar - It's been a great ride while it lasted. You've allowed us to live out our lives in ignorant bliss and kept us from having to do any "real work". The destruction of our future is a small price to pay for the joys you have given us.

Maybe using a little false flag blamed on Syria.

That war with Iran is inevitable. The only question is when and under what pretense. Will there be a "false flag" operation? Will Bush and co. attack America or one of our warships in an effort to blame Iran?

At this point, it will take quite a serirous offense to get the American public behind a new war, but it is quite obvious that the current administration is "itchin" to attack Iran.

What is most disturbing to me, is that they keep likening Iran to Nazi Germany, by saying that if we ignore the threat of Iran it will lead to another World War.

But the way I see it, our government is the one behaving like Nazi Germany, by illegally and pre-emptively invading one country after another.

The Iran government created its new oil bourse in Kish a while back. This is a sunny spot where Europeans spend luxurious days sunbathing and shopping. The oil traded in Kish is sans USD. Net-net, the Iranians have proposed their middle-finger to the Bush family and their oil cabal friends.

So, based on this article, Iran is no longer conducting its oil transactions in dollars.

Assuming that Iran alone is responsible for 8% of the world's oil, does this mean that this event alone will cause the dollar to lose 8% of its value?
