For the book. I went to www.ronpaulbookbomb.com and wanted to check out what they were doing. I thought they might have been collecting money in order to buy large quantities of books, but they aren't.
Here is what I'm thinking I'm going to do. Figure out a way to get these puppies to IRAQ to our men and women serving. If we can get even more of the military to start spreading this message, that can't be ignored either. Really who's going to get asked more about "what's going on in Iraq" us or a Marine, Army, Navy, AF personnel over there.
So let's do this. I don't want to start a damn web site, or ask anyone to trust me with their money.
I'd like to extend a "call to action" for everyone here. Let's figure out a way we can get them over there. Let's all do our research and figure out how we can do this. I'm sure there are military types on here who can help. We can either get some FPO/AP stuff worked out and see if Amazon will ship there, or we can figure out a POC who is about to be deployed that we can send to or maybe someone over there now.
Then we all just go to Amazon and either get them delivered directly OR get them sent to our house and then re-direct them to Names of people who want to act as distributers over there. (I also think a mix of Audio books and reg books would be a good idea)
Let's get thinkin guys and gals. What do you think? I'm curious.
I'm in for 100 bucks myself let's start in Iraq, then go to maybe Afghanistan, then Japan, then Germany, etc etc......

Ok here is the way I'm going to go.
I am going to do the following:
Today I will order 8 books and 4 audio cds from Amazon.

I will correspond with these soldiers and figure out what they want/need.
I will send 3 books and 1 cd in each package (4) with some needed items and I'll include a letter explaining that I hope they can use the items included and also tell them I have included a short but inspiring book that I hope they can find the time to read. Ill ask them to pass it around when they are finished I also plan to include a statement explaining that while I know we are not getting the true story from the media about Iraq, I'm also not sure they are getting the true story about the building Ron Paul support over here stateside.
I'll post the letter I use up here.
If anyone else wants to participate I'd like to hear some feedback/critiques/suggestions on this idea.
If the idea seems like a good one, I'd encourage anyone who wants to participate to order your books today also :)

When I pick the names I'll put a post up here with the name I have chosen. I was going to scatter it amongst anysoldier.com; anymarine.com, etc. If we all do that I think we'll be ok, we can just do a quick search to make sure we haven't chosen duplicate names. Does that work?
