Buying Gas
Where is the best place to buy gas? Recently I was driving down a road, and saw Citgo next to Exxon-Mobil. Hmm, I thought, i can give my money to the Rockefellers or chavez... Are there any decent gas distributers? Also, does anyone think it's worthwhile to boycott the big banks? Like Chase and JP Morgan for example, and put money into a local, independent bank instead?

Supporting
Citgo is more important than the cheapest gas - it's a matter of principle to me.
If you want to use a bank, I would go with locally owned and or a Credit Union which is owned by you and other shareholders.
'We should make a list of who to support, and who to avoid. Price should not be the issue or determining factor - principles rule - that's why we love Ron Paul!
I boycotted Citgo
when he called Bush the devil. Good little neocon that I was. Sure have changed my toon. Now I would gladly go to Citgo, but only if the gas is the lowest.
I go out of my way for the lowest gas I can find because I think that is the only thing to do. I don't see others doing this. I don't know why. It is about the only message we can send and I think it is important to shop around for the lowest price.
Citgo - v - Exxon, Mobil, BP, et al....

Excerpt:
Late last year (2005), as winter's first chill sent consumers reaching for their thermostats, a dozen *U.S. senators asked 10 major oil companies to donate a portion of their record profits to help the poor. Only Citgo responded, dispatching tankers to housing projects in New York and Massachusetts ..
Today (2006), the program expands to homeless shelters and Native American tribes in Maine. Friday, Rhode Island gets its initial delivery.

note: the truth is out there. just remember to hold your nose against the stench of MSM propaganda co-mingled with the deeply discredited bits of occassional truth.
I choose Citgo
For several reasons, including the home heating assistance as well as the offer that they made post-Katrina.
we would be better off
all putting our money into one bank, and then all withdrawing it on the same day
So
excuse my naivety, but we are trying to destroy our economy??? I think the Paul people have such an inside track that we already influence this situation more than we know. I thought the whole idea was to keep the economy stable until Dr. Paul can get in and fix the mess.
That is genius
Brilliant idea!
