Huh?
No international or foreign court has sovereignty over the United States. If any trial is to be held, it would have to be done here.
Im no fan of Dubya either, but I can't understand how any Ron Paul supporter could support this?
Live Free Or Die; Death Is Not The Worst of Evils.
Yes...
... the international court doesn't have any active jurisdiction over members of the US govt(not at the moment and not yet, at least), but at the same time, a trial and conviction in absentia for war crimes committed by Bush and the various neocon henchmen would be a powerful symbolic message to the world both in the present and the future.
Practically, morally and spiritually the goons running our government, going back to at least Clinton and the invasion of Serbia/Bosnia, need to be tried and convicted of war crimes and sentenced appropriately. Our leaders are giving orders for the same things that brought death sentences at Nuremburg...
There was a Tribunal already! Bush was found Guilty!

Did you think you would here about this if you lived in the US? LOL
This was back in 2004. He was found guilty of over thirty war crimes and that was before Iraq!!! I wouldn't recognize the decision of any court thats not the US but you can't block it out either!!!
Never heard of this, too
I just remember Rumsfeld didn't dare to turn up for a conference in Munich last year, because after he had left office he also had lost his diplomatic immunity against criminal prosecution by German authorities. It seems he does take some allegations that are filed here pretty seriously.
Dr. Paul cured my apathy
Whoa!
I just read some of this Afghan tribunal document. At the end they have the individual judgements of each of the 4 judges--I read the first two. Prof. Niloufer Bhagwat's comments are particularly eye-opening. Interesting...
Thanks for the link. I should have my mother read this. She would probably never speak to me again, though.
Never heard of this, great
Never heard of this, great link. I remember Canada putting the US on the state who sponsor terrorism list. We kicked and screamed and were removed. The lawyers also tried to prosecute Bush for war crimes.
That is like
forking jello.
Where can we sign up...
to be jurors??? (That's IF and When it happens!)
Boy!!! I would sure
like to sit on that jury. What can we as American citizens do to help the Former British Minister. With all the lies, and corruption that has occured with this administration maybe we need some outside help, but which country, or countries would come to the aid of the American people? Our country is completely in shambles, economy, financially, morally, and physically. We work, and pay our taxes, and what does it get us? It gets us a very greedy, and power driven government that must be stopped, but tell me which country out there would come and give the American people Freedom, and Liberty? My guess is NONE. We must do it, and we will, it will be by spreading the message of Freedom, and Liberty, and educating the average American citizen. Most have lived like mushrooms in the dark. We need to shed some light, and do it everyday, with everyone we meet.
Regarding
Regarding impeachment....
check out Shirley Golub's new ad lol...she's running against Pelosi:

cindy sheehan is running
cindy sheehan is running against pelosi...she has an outside chance...im glad she acknowledged that ron is the only honest guy in congress....
I was on Sheehan's website
I was on Sheehan's website the other day. She definitely needs to be more clear in describing her position on the issues. I've never heard of Golub until now... was just on her site and she is way more clear and focused in regards to her positions. I'm not so sure about Sheehan, but she does have a lot more name recognition afaik...
Love That Ad!
LOL
HAhaha
That ad is awesome.
sure is a funny ad..
sure is a funny ad..
Trouble is...
...she'd have to put herself on trial too. She was dubious about the war - but still went along with it. The Labour Party and Conservative Party both have lots of blood on their hands, from many outrageous foreign interventions.
haha but george galloway
haha but george galloway ...(my hero) ...resigned from the labor party...no blood on his hands...he has been advocating this for a long time...
Galloway Didn't Resign
He was expelled from the Labour Party. Then he appealed against his expulsion! He's a careerist, pure and simple.
Yes, I was about to say that.
