US News & World Report on Ron Paul's New Book,
Ron Paul's New Book, The Revolution: A Manifesto
Posted April 30, 2008
He's back—though GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul never really left. (See his showing in the Pennsylvania primary, where, against presumed nominee John McCain, he picked up nearly 16 percent of the vote despite having effectively suspended his campaign months ago.)
Today, Paul's book, The Revolution: A Manifesto, is officially released and it's already zoomed to No. 8 on Amazon's bestseller list and is the top-selling political book. The Texas congressman is using today's launch to urge his fervent supporters to continue their libertarian "revolution."
In a message to supporters this morning, Paul says that the rest of American has "underestimated you," and urged them to descend on book stores to pick up "what my friends are calling..."Ron Paul's legacy."'
What he's also looking for are book proceeds, of course, to "fuel our revolution for a long time to come."

More and more I am being
More and more I am being convinced that journalists are idiots. If the author would of at least checked his sources and verified the fast they would know it was Mitt Romney who suspended his campaign.
The "proceeds" that count, of course, are readers

What? A guy can't get paid for his work? Of course he's looking for people to buy his book, just like US News and World Reports is looking for suckers to subscribe to their rag and view their website.

Ron Paul To Debut on New York Times Bestseller List
Posted by Lew Rockwell at April 30, 2008 04:23 PM
On Sunday May 11, Ron Paul's The Revolution: A Manifesto will debut at #7 on the New York Times Bestseller List (that's 7 out of 15, so it's above the fold, so to speak).
In some ways, since the Times tracks brick-and-mortar store sales, this is more impressive than the Amazon #1. Even the big chains are not stocking the book heavily yet. But this recognition will change all that. #1 is more than possible on the NYT list too.
